>$2000 gaming pc
>play games from 10 years ago

Might as well get a console for $300 and play new games.

Why does he have his own fucking server?

Also, these PC bait threads always give themselves away by overestimating the cost of high-end PCs. You don't hit $2k unless you fall for the future-proofing meme.

New games

>Why does he have his own fucking server?
I have a similar setup.
One PC for gaming, one is for work, one is a media pc wired into the rest of my hiuse and then I literally have a server for work backup and a UPS.

What is that, a gold farmer build? Looks like it can host a decent server, or it's just a gold farmer. BotCoin farmer as well?

Yeah nah I have no idea what the fuck I'm looking at. Might as well be a fridge for all I know.

It's an Xbox series x

Not to mention the PS5 will be stronger than most PCs for 1/4 the cost.

That's actually a pretty cool idea. PC and fridge, all inside a big server rack.
The ultimate gaming setup.

>800 pc
>5 years later the price you paid doesn't increase
>meanwhile on consoles

1/4 of the cost because you will pay the rest by being stuck inside Sony's walled garden.

what's UPS?

>Spend about 700€ on a gaming PC with an i5 4690K and a GTX970 about 6 years ago.
>Still can play almost every modern release with high to max settings at 1080p/60fps.

>get a console
>play games from 10 yea...oh wait

uninterrupted power supply.
if power goes out, it keeps the pc or server on for a certain amount of time

Uninterrupted-power-supply

Uninterrupted power supply, it's like a giant fucking battery so in the event the power goes out you've got 1-2 hours of power still to do whatever you need to do on your comps, pretty critical for work.

>$2000 gaming pc
Fucking why? I've never spent more than a 1000 per PC, and they've lasted me at least 5 years. My current one's 9.

>play games from 10 years ago
Or 20. Or 30. Or even 40 years ago if you WANT.
That's the beauty of PC gaming: you are NOT restricted to what ever the fuck the regressed AAA studios shit out once or twice a year. You can play ANYTHING you want, how you want, and then some. And not have to pay for online fees.

Should I upgrade my PC with the stimulus bucks? My CPU is like a decade old but everything else is new.

Yes.
t. using an i7 920 from 2009

You should invest it wisely so you can make more money. If you're getting stimulus bucks, you're clearly not making enough money and shouldn't waste it on frivolous things.

Who are you lying to, it's a well known fact that modern machines are having a hard time running older games.

don't be poor or underage and problem solved
$3k gaming PC 'aint no thang when you're an adult bucko sweetiepie

Do consolefags just not own a PC whatsoever? Do you do everything on your phone?
Yeah, a gaming PC is more expensive than a console. You know what else is? A console + a normal PC. If you need a PC anyway, the cost of bringing it up to gaming standards isn't significantly different from the cost of a console.

>build PC for 1k
>play games for 10 years
Yeah, nah. Better buy a new console every 4 years for 500, without backwards compatibility and paying for playing online.

Any gaming pc is stronger than "most PCs", user.

>a gaming PC is more expensive than a console
It's not, console+tv is more expensive than a computer.

I am making literally nothing as I lost my job as a result of corona.

>Why does he have his own fucking server?
Better question - why don't you?

Assuming you'd otherwise not own a TV.

That server rack must be so loud. Funny how it's always american's that have that shit, since they don't have actual basements lol.

>Who are you lying to,
Nobody.
No matter what your silly headcanon narrative says, even modern PCs can indeed easily run shit from up to 50 years ago if needed.
Even more so if you did not fall for the Wontworks10 meme, and still use the chad W7 Ultimate. Or better yet: Linux.

>using the cooling mechanisms inside of a fridge to not only keep your drinks cool but to also keep the computer from overheating, allowing you to effectively game and snack at the same time
Capitalise on that idea, dude

I don't get the fad of putting bucket seats in stationary fucking buildings

Not gonna watch (You)r e-celeb crap.

It does not take an Einstein to run pre-Steam era PC games this day and age. You just may need to actually do some RESEARCH and TWEAKING.
Something a fucking console will never ever allow you to do. Good luck playing Mario 64 on a PS5.

Is a 2060 + Ryzen 5 2600 worth it or should I splurge a bit more and go for the 2070 and an i7?

wait so why don't we cool our PCs with refridgeration

Thanks for proving his point.

HOLY FUCK PUT THE PC INSIDE THE FUCKING FRIDGE ON AN ISOLATED COMPARTMENT
user WE ARE GOING TO BE FUCKING RICH

Ryzen 3600 + 2070 Super

>Thumbnail shows GTA3
>GTA3 works fine on my W10 PC
so why should i click that shitty video? it's wrong before it's even fucking started

Only poor people and basement dwelling losers play on console at this point really. Also with a 2K build you can play any new game better than console so?

Gamers are sheep that get easily marketed to.

>$600 is 1/4th the cost of $1000
uh oh... someone can't into math...
I play both and enjoy mkb and 144 fps.

>didnt upgrade graphics card monthly
>cant play buggy .iso at 288hz 500fps

Why own a pc?

I dunno, what's UPS with u?

1080p 60fps in all games meanwhile consoles struggle at 30fps and maybe, just maybe the new ones will be able to provide stable 60fps
