I thought it was stupid at first too but now I think it might actually be genius. We won't really know until part two drops though.
based
I agree
The time jannies are the player desperately trying to hold onto the events of the old game and make sure everything stays the same. Then the game makes you kill them at the end. You literally have to kill your own hopes for a faithful remake. It's possibly the boldest move they could have ever made and I kinda love it.
I hate the movie but AC Sequel was good 6-7/10!
I see that my theory is spreading.
Spread the word brother!
That's just a bit of postmodern. Nothing to call genius lmao.
At least post the video
Greatest cope of all time. We have a VII Barry on the making ladies and gentlemen.
The absolute state of remaketrannies
>thinking I'll sit through 22 minutes of a fat cuckold gushing about le subversive genius of fucking Nomura
LMAOOOOOOOO
>this is what remake apologists actually believe
Looking forward to seeing how it will look when we reach certain parts from the original was fun for the first game but did we really wanna do that for 3 or 4 games? I'd much rather we just not know where they're gonna go with it.
Hey faggot OP you started it, not me
What differentiates subversive genius from manipulative marketing, or straight up lying? Just because something is genius doesn't mean it isn't morally wrong.
Think about this. Part two is definitely opening with the full Nibelheim flashback. We're most likely gonna go through this sequence in the timeline where Zack survives. If they hadn't done this multiple timeline shit it would have just been the same sequence for the third time after the original and Crisis Core.
The ultimate cope. Or, maybe, it's just shit writing user.
Jeez how many shills do square enix have? They really want to push the sequel.
I'm not OP
My mind tells me it's dangerous, but my heart is in love with this remake. The music, the characters, everything is too good.
It's okay Nomura, show us what you got. Go full retard. I'm not afraid anymore.
I'm not saying the writing is good. Just that it's bold and offensive and I love it.
>tfw subversion is a dirty word now
I fucking hate new writers
There ain't no gettin' offa this train we're on
>the satisfaction I get from understanding the concept of this piece of art IS the art itself and is good
That's how postmodernism killed classicism
If they backpedal now I'll be so fucking mad.
It was painful enough to overcome the trauma, making so that it was all for nothing would be too much
"I fucked your mom" is bold and offensive too
Episode 2 is gonna end with the Jenova boss fight after Junon on the ship with a panoramic view of Costa Del Sol.
That's way too short man, what the fuck. At least get to Aerith's (not?) death
>That's way too short man, what the fuck
Midgar was 3-5 hours for a normal first playthrough of the base game. It's actually a fuck load of the game compared to this trash.
I don' want to buy 5+ games, 3 is already more than enough
>Kalm
>Chocobo Ranch
>Marshes/Midgar Zolom
>Mythril mine
>Fort Condor
>Under Junon
>Junon
>Cargo Ship
vs
>Midgar
Honestly, those expectations are too high.
From the end of Midgar to the ship is like half the length of Midgar.
Yeah but you gotta think how little actually happens in those areas vs how much happens in Midgar.
That's where their brilliant expansion of the story comes into play in the vein of padded side quests and hours of exciting voiced dialogue.
