Pinball minigame

We all know it will be an "open world" ala Destiny 2.

Inclusion of more weapons, rethinking of obsolete movelists and maps designed with gameplay in mind too instead of only looks.

I want mhw2

I just want freedom unite on switch

>implying they'll go back to the old formula after the incredible success of World
Yeah I doubt it but even if they did I wouldn't play it. I tried getting back into the old formula with Generations and nope. Too clunky. And that's coming from a Tri fag. My friends started with older games and most of them refuse to go back either. But who knows. On the note of a World sequel, I'd like to see some more diversity in monster selection and emphasis on the gathering hall like in the previous games. Don't really have any complaints with the current formula outside of that.

no styles
no scaling
guild hall
some soul

>old formula
>generations

as long as HP isn't bloated like it is in Iceborne then I literally don't give a fuck about anything the devs do

In terms of the overall clunkiness. Yeah the styles are aids but the clunkiness in movement and just general lack of QoL is the same as other titles.

Apart from the obvious ones like more weapons more monster variations, more maps etc
I want the whole Village to act like the Gathering Hub, i.e. when you decide to go online you join a lobby and you just chill there with everyone else without having to go into a specific area to do it.

Revamped underwater combat, leviathans and insects coming back, pet monsters you can tame and ride and a huge Savannah area with huge herbivore herds that can stampede like in the original game intro.

Okay, will they continue using world formula
But should they keep handlers and clutch weapon?
Should hub missions not exist again?

They should integrate the clutch weapon into actual combos like they have done with Lance/SnS, but at the same time remove the tenderizing mechanic.
Fuck Handler.

less AOE area denial pl0x
fuck you Kushala

For MH to continue to not be on Nintendo Switch.
The continued seething after 3 years is still hilarious and it's nice no longer being held back by deprecated hardware.
As long as they do this I don't need anything else.

The clutch claw is pretty annoying but I like the idea of applying a debuff to a part of the body and getting increased affinity from it. Maybe if they just extended the duration. The stun lock stuff is pretty annoying but on later monsters it's a decent trade off. Encouraging the players to keep the monster enraged is a good idea. Fuck the handler though. I know it's been beaten to death but the title 'handler' makes me feel like some autist who needs a tard-wrangler lmao

dragon's dogma style character creation

Yes, but clutch claw debuff lead to it being must have in mr, which is pure cancer

all of the maps are how you described you just can't handle playing in tight spaces

Fair, but I still kind of like it nonetheless. Having weapons that are better at wounding then others is also a cool dynamic for hunts. I get it's irritating to force it on players and I'm not sure how they could design around it. My only recommendation would be to extend the duration so you have to do it less often.

underwater

New weapons mainly and a switch version

Actually be open world but with nuance to the areas, they are interconnected ala Dark Souls style with multiple towns littered around. Also, different towns have different blacksmiths that can make specialized gear based on monsters local to the area. Have legendary, hidden blacksmiths that make more powerful versions of gear and Elder dragon gear. And then add back in water combat but do it using the mechanics of World obviously. People are not creative enough to realize you CAN do water combat properly, but they had to get their heads out of their ass and stop using archaic and slow-ass animations that had no flexibility and they need monsters more properly balanced for the movement mechanics available. Now that they have their heads out of their ass, they should be able properly make water combat.

Underwater hunting. That's all.

>monster hunter 5
It came out like 2 years ago, retard.

They have to do something about the healing. I refuse to play another MH where you have infinite free healing. It ruined Dragon's Dogma and it ruined Monster Hunter.

I almost forgot: the fucking RNG on decos. Rare monster drops? Fine I'll grind it no biggie. Gigantic drop tables for weird ass lvl 4 deco combinations? Yeah fuck that. After 500 hours I just cheated in the ones I was missing. Fuck that shit.

>lol these games are so clunky
>Did you beat them?
>No
>Did you get past the tutorial low rank?
>No
>Did you at any point try to improve your skill before giving up?
>Not really

Please no

This is the kind of sperg that world brought us...

Its funny going back to older mh games and they are legit more fun.

World invalidated so much of itself near instantly while you do it.

Seething

Fuck off samefag

I wish there was something left for me to do in the old game, but I've mastered all of them.

Have you played using all the weapons?

I've gone back to tri and progressing as the SnS through the games.

World SnS actually feels so clunky now.

>Have you played using all the weapons?

Yes.

>I've gone back to tri and progressing as the SnS through the games.

I've done the same. FU was a bitch, I remember making the rathian rose and it barely worked. 3U has some REALLY strong ones, like "solo Ivory G-rank in 3 minutes" strong.

I just want more monsters and no more Meme Lands, that's shit it's the worst thing

>Remove Crutch Claw mechanics
>Remove CC spam
>Bring back Guild Quests separation for HR and onward
>Increase monster stagger resistance, especially in solo
>Solo is no longer easy mode in HR and G rank
>Fuck off with the power creep DLC that makes all prior gear irrelevant like Kulve and Behemoth
>Give monsters less start up
>Make monsters faster outside of rage mode
>Bring back more Guard Points
