Once you're endgame geared you either stomp enemies on mayhem 3 or take 20 minutes to kill one badass on mayhem 4.
The core gameplay is there, they just don't know how to make an interesting endgame.

offline saves make endgame pointless

I'm only 3 hours in tho

>only 3 hours in
no fucking wonder, you are still fucking around with greens/blues right now, go get some real gear user.

what did mean?

>green/blue
I noticed that the droprate of purples are rather common.

No Mechromancer.

Status?

If the offline tinkfarm from launch still isn't patched, that's probably what he's talking about

No berserker or psycho equivalent.
For that matter I think all of 3's characters are pretty samey and unremarkable desu. Even TPS had a better lineup.

I finished normal mode at lvl35, starting tvhm now and for some reason in the first hour of the game, skipping the intro and cutscenes, I have found at least a dozen loot tinks, my inventory is full of legendary as well as my equips.
Is that some sort of catch up mechanic so you get to endgame faster or what?
I've seen gameplay of endgame when max level was 50 and its expected to get lots of them by then but I didnt expect so get so many so early. I'm not kidding I dont even bother going back to sell my loot, I just throw the lower legendaries to replace them 5min later with the higher level ones.
I also played a shit ton of bl1 & 2 so thats why I'm surprised, then went full diablo 3.

8
random purples
moze
as i said, I'm only 3 hours in

its a special event thing

because the story is about you fighting two instagram influencers for... well, no real reason realy.

There's currently an event that makes loot tinks and orange drops in red chests extremely common, I got a full orange set at level 8 on my recent playthrough.

keep going, stick to the green or blue tree since those are the most fun. Red tree is ignore tier until TVHM M4 when you get killed in 3 shots from how squishy you are, and is a source of major damage with the other 2 trees,

soulless gunplay and environments

Gameplay is the best of all BLs so far, but the story is the worst, even worse than pre-sequel.

Because Borderlands' gameplay is inherently dull

I have never experience a game where it becomes significantly more enjoyable by muting all the in-game voice audio.

nothing can be worse than australian dykes in space

oh okay that explains it
I cant really say its fun tho because I just use whatever and everything melts, the normal mode was already way too easy I feel compared to bl2 so I want some challenge now.
But I've been very pleasantly surprised at the loot in general, and how the game manages to make you think twice about using a gun of a lower rarity than the ones you get just because you find a good anoint on it. I feel like even at endgame a great white shotgun with the good anoint can be usable, getting diablo2 flashbacks right now, they really did a great job with itemization compared to borderlands 2.

mayhaps you're build is shit

play more. Nobody plays Borderlands for babby mode normal.

BL3's endgame is really easy
you're in for disappointment if you expect a genuine challenge, even in mayhem 4

You ain't seen nothin' yet.

are any of the cast even Australian at this point? they all died on the moon during the story most likely

mostly this, its a real shame.
I'm trying to find comfort in the fact that despite the streamer meme being so forced, they actually are making fun of it and the people desperate to make it their jobs. kinda based if you ask me.
The characters are insufferable tho, and so soulless I dont remember the name of any of the new ones introduced affter playing for like 20 hours.

level design is so shit..i cant believe it

you'll think differently once you meet the little goblin on athenas

>borederlands
