Hey guys, what are your thoughts on the improved UI? Personally, I think it looks better than before with the added GG flairs all around. The only things I'm not a big fan of are the gear for 50% meter, the increasingly large hit count and the big ass COUNTER, the slowdown and zoom in is kind of disorienting too.
The menus look really great in motion but I can see why a lot of people think that the game looks like it's having an identity crisis, at least on the aesthetics side of things even though the gameplay is under fire too. I imagine it would be received a lot better if it was on a different IP or even a spinoff, and speaking of the latter the whole UI in general reminds me a lot of BBTAG's except much more smoother and rounded.
Does anyone have a screenshot of the HUD and UI in the previous version? I forgot what it looked like.

Moving character portraits is also a bad idea. Your eyes have to find a new place to look when you want to check burst or risc, delaying how quickly you can get that info
