On some things they took some steps down, like removing school swimsuits (why the fuck would you do that?) and story being absolutely boring when compared to AGH, but they added a lot of animations and customizations. I wish it had better doggy, but they already fixed it in the next game.

Only thing that's objectively better in Rinkan is that the three animations of the standard loop in a positions transition seamlessly instead of instantly, but in my opinion it's not worth the tradeoff of having nine+ animations per positions like Insult Order does, which is why it's better. Also
