I liked 2 the most, it was the most skillful. 3 has tons of infinites and the retarded kawarimi meter. All the entries after it do as well, 4 fixes some but not all of the infinites, and also projectile spam is much less horrific in 4 too. 2>4>1>revolution>3

you can clear like every singleplayer thing in all these games by running away, charging your ki, and doing your super duper ultimate attack. none of these one button arena fighters are good imo and its a big shame because theres so much potential here but they always play it safe and shallow.

try the first one, since it only has local multiplayer it's pretty big on the challenge in the single player. The rest are all developed with multi in mind.

I liked 2 because I mained Lars Alexanderson. Sucks he won't be in any future title. Wish they would as least make some color swap named Alex Larserson or something just so I can keep the same gameplay.
4 is the funnest one to play with my buddys. Everyone stopped playing it but I will still buy the DLC in a couple days to support Ninja Storm instead of Strikers. Need a Ninja Storm 5 with a create a ninja, not whatever Strikers is.

Lars was 2. 3's big thing was Mecha Naruto, they later added Mecha into 4 as DLC even though there was no reason for it to be left out in the first place.

I forget but I read in one of their "Author's Thoughts", I can't remember if it was Oda's or Kishi's but they said they were inspired by DBZ, comparing the point of their manga to the point of where DB was at around the same time.
