This is how DS1 worked.
DS2 has soul memory so to stay viable in PvP you have to continually dump stats into the most viable thing until you get to "scales with all stats" tier.
DS3 has PvP based on weapon reinforcement, I think.

I think it was both weapon reinforcement and level. For example, to play with others in road of sacrifices/farron keep, you didn't want to go above a +3 normal weapon and around lvl 30.

Under normal game rules, invaders are unplanned and are meant to stop your progress alongside the normal enemies. How am I the one creating an issue when I invade someone and try to do what I'm supposed to do during an invasion? Fightclub faggots should go play other games if they don't want an invader to act like an invader. It isn't me that would be ruining their fun, and also who are you to say that they don't have fun trying to crush me with all the "invaders" and host's gang? They certainly put enough fervor into hunting my ass down.
