Considering the current state of Yas Forums, I'd wager it's going to be full of Reddit memes.
Hopefully low production value videos. Remember when the video just started up with the content, no intro or catchphrase? Now everyone spends two minutes talking about what the video will be about before spending another two minutes shilling some shitty mobile game. I miss when YouTube was about home videos.
Fucking this. Also hate the stupid music/logo intros with a passion.
>ali a intensifies
Trying to put individual content creators into "fads" is kind of disingenuous. We still have angry reviewers, nerdy infordumpers, and we'll have new takes on those in the future. With the general rise of the "new sincerity" movement in common culture I'd predict a new wave of positive reviewers or downright shills, or perhaps people with highlight reels for games with little to no commentary. VR seems to fit really well with this as well, which if it continue to grow as a new medium could make it more common. Kind of like those old JustinTV clips that used to be super back in youtube's early years.
They vaguely talk about a video game without mentioning the name.
Retardcam live commentary over Let's Plays. Here's your new review format.
LGR has been doing that shit since 2008
not videogames get raped.
tranny streamers
gay streamers replacing thot streamers
the timelime is not about when they start, its about when they become their most popular
Easy. Hot chicks begging for money while their boyfriend plays a video game.
this doesn't account for the tryhard reviewers like dragonfag and matosis
This, ETHOTS are the future, don't forget each video will end with a link to their onlyfans.
they're all fags
you are retarded. Women are lazy brainless morons. Do you honestly think a woman, let alone an attractive woman, has the brain to write a video script and operate sony vegas to edit? no way in hell. women will always be dominating twitch, and they will not be migrating to youtube anytime soon
(ps, you havent seen the onsluaght of failed female youtube gamers. The only one that has semi made is TamishiiHiroka who is basically retired)
>traditional LPs were killed off in favor of streaming with some dude's ugly face in the corner while he reads donation messages every five minutes
I'll never not be mad
Clementj64 is a lets player whose never migrated to twitch. But hes the only lets player i actually watch
Traditional LPs were killed by video LPs you goddamn newfig
I think next is ironic meta memeing on YouTube culture.
fat ugly trannies with collared hair and a hate for reality
It's not looking bright boys...
You can blame youtube and companies forcing youtube to demonetizing everything for that.
Masses of normies recording themselves playing video games for the first time ever while shut in due to corona
i hope its not faggot newground toons, and its more of Irate Video Game Nerd. I would pay $1000 for a 3rd episode
It's so bad the completionist spend so much time with a game and have so little to talk about it. The completionist aspect of it is basically a resume of what needs to be done and how annoying is it to get. The pinnacle of wasted potential.
Behold the future trend
youtube.com
vtubers
I don't think there is a "next trend".
YouTube's dying... Oldstream media keeps snitching on YT and getting advertisers scared.
Even if you pay for YT Red you still have to put up with sponsor segments of videos, which are even worse than intro ads.
Only reason to watch YT anymore is there is some good journalism on some channels, I guess.
The next gaming youtube "fad" is already happening, it's just twitch streamers uploading their streams (lightly edited) to youtube. People like Jerma, RTgame, critikal, and Acai have all been shooting up in popularity lately and get consistently high views.
Some sort of "seven layers of irony" channel with controversial hot gaming takes once in a while. Basically dunkey clones.
but people like Scot the Woz are already "seven layers of irony"
Yeah, but his content is too long to be considered really digestible by zoomers. Even dunkey only takes around ~8 minutes max on his long videos.
YouTube was like a blog back then, now it's just business and that's why everyone does the same and og content always gets ignored and then the channels get more and more inactive
Irony?
Scott just has a dorky sense of humor.
His channel genre is dorky infodumping.
I fucking hate streaming. I remember when Vinny used to be slightly amusing to watch but now watching half these idiots do their shit makes me feel schizophrenic.
>Spend half the video talking to chat or reading shit from chat
the type of zoomers who would use youtube though probably do not klmind the length of scot's vids. I think the type of videos your proposing would be Tik Tok meme clips of reviewing games
