>Got a top-tier Nintendo Direct almost entirely about our game >New Smash character is our beloved Byleth with weapons from all 3 houses and a beautiful cinematic tying the two games together. >Also announced the DLC for 3H with new characters and outfits >Watching all the smashfags seethe over it because FE and other complex strategy games are too complicated for their stupid brains to comprehend. >Having intellectual discussions about 3H on Yas Forums nearly every day with top quality shitposts, memes and artwork >Watching Final Fantasy VII and their interactive movie RPGwannabe game remake get BTFO by greedy Square Enix with everyone crying and complaining about it rather than having fun discussions about it
The year isn't even over yet. We might even get a new game announcement.
>Having intellectual discussions about 3H on Yas Forums nearly every day with top quality shitposts, memes and artwork LOL
Hunter Morris
Wouldn't the year Three Houses actually came out be more relevant?
Jaxson Wright
it came out halfway through the year, and the only thing that really happened was Christina Vee getting fired. Other than that most of the threads were largely the same.
Matthew Young
>Having intellectual discussions about 3H on Yas Forums nearly every day with top quality shitposts, memes and artwork Imagine being OP and being this much of a faggot about a videogame.
Cameron Scott

Why did IS feel the need to add save scumming and call it Divine Pulse?
>i-its not cheating if we give it a different name!
Juan Howard
The only best year is the year Genealogy remake is announced/released.
imagine being a low-IQ smashfag who can't into strategy games and his only skill is mashing buttons hoping to land a combo and calling that pure skill when your motor neurons are rapidly deteriorating as you age and never will be the same as you were when you were a teen but continue to endlessly tryhard.
does mila's turnwheel / divine pulse count as save scumming?
Owen Morales
I usually reload every time someone dies, except instances like Shadow Dragon where certain maps and characters are locked behind deaths. Then I throw everyone who under performs into the grinder.
Jaxon Ramirez
a bit? i mean, they're limited and the RNG is set anyway so you can't just reroll a crit or a hit divine pulse is more for switching strategies and retrying different things, not rolling for a crit
Ryan Murphy
A character death is a game over as far as I am concerned. At that point you either reload or delete your save file. There is no continuing afterwards.
Ethan Collins
why do you hardcorefags prefer resetting the game and going through the menu and map again like it's some rite of passage and more "hard core". Seriously, it's an old relic of the past. You obviously can still do this, but times have changed old man, divine pulse is here to stay whether you like it or not.
Sometimes, if I can be bothered. If the unit is easily replaceable or if playing through the map again would be too tedious, they can stay dead.
RIP Darros

>Got a top-tier Nintendo Direct almost entirely about our game
The fuck you talking about?
Adrian Taylor
Shit, why not add a mechanic where you automatically get a critical hit and the enemy misses you every time? After all you can just reload the game before every encounter to ensure that anyway.
Wyatt Lopez
Wait, that was just a few months ago? Time feels like it's melding together
Julian Jones
you'll get another archanea remake and you'll like it
Ryder Nelson
Or you could employ better strategies until you make it out of the chapter with acceptable losses. Not resetting doesn't necessarily make the game any more tactical. You could keep doing ironman runs where you move your units randomly and eventually you'll get lucky enough to win.
Wyatt Gomez
but nobody was doing that, IS just realized that the way most people play the game is by resetting every time a character dies, so they just gave you the option to undo your mistake. You can still reset the whole map if you want or you can keep playing, the only weird thing is that they do put you into divine pulse when you fail an objective
Isaac Howard
How is that different than save stating on an emulator so you only have to play the last 10 seconds rather than the entire level?
Logan Morales
Three houses is cool, but damn the pacing sucks and the story so far is basic as fuck. I barely got to the point where geralt dies and Monica the person who appears outta nowhere and is obviously evil turns out to be evil. It wasnt very good, I feel like it was way too obvious. I like the battles but the monastery sections and teaching sucks. Leveling up byleth is also too much work, he's level 22 and still doesn't even have an A for swords yet.
Divine pulse is a good mechanic and if you use them you suck. If the take forces you to use them you really suck.
Nathan Phillips
Why does it have to be different? If shitters want to use divine pulse then good for them and good for IS if it means that they get to sell more games, as long as they don't actually design the maps around using divine pulse then I am good. Have you never wanted to go back to your last turn after some random ambush spawn decided to crit your healer? I'd say most people have and if they don't stop putting ambush spawn in their games I might start using it too
Lucas Williams
It's not the best year for FE because of all that garbage. It's the best year for FE because Tokyo Mirage Sessions made a comeback.
