Get a grip, get a life, get the fuck over it already, holy shit, how many times are we going to have to hear this, we get it, you're triggered, seek professional help

Its a lost battle these retards like OP will always lose and diversity will be the gold standard.

Still going to try it, even if I personally disagree with some of its implied political aspects.
A game should focus on good gameplay above all else, and if I find it enjoyable to play I should be mature enough to handle a different viewpoint than my own.

I get to beat the shit out of criminals with aliens? Count me in

So what are you doing here? You obviously not interested in this thread.

Good consoomer

>implied political aspects.
There are no white people. That is what diversity means, both in the context of this game and in its real life usage.

I'm going to play it anyway (pre-ordered when it was announced) but damn, the "diversity" meme might be real. 4 announced characters and not a single white person, let alone white male.

There are aliens of different species working together with humans in a single squad. That is what diversity means in the context of this game.
Get over yourself.

this
those who are against diversity should be killed in the name of diversity

I'm sure you can find political aspects in everything if you look hard enough, doesn't mean it's implied, most likely you're overthinking things

>Huge mechanical changes to the XCOM formula
>Given that it's described as an 'experimental game' it could have a huge impace on future titles
>All people can do is bitch about muh diversity

I fucking hate you all

>Implying this controversy isn't all according to their grand design

It looks like you're the one who's fanny flustered.

>black, black, black, black, black

Why does white skin cause so much anger?

This game is backlash agains ISIScom and KILL ALL XENOS from XCOM 2

you seem the only one bothered enough by this to shitpost every xcom thread

Nobody is pale as shit in XCOM. The cripple's white, and the guy in the back with the beard might be too

Why must literally every game have this

They obviously don't care about the games and are only here to push their agenda.
Hmm, where have I seen that?

The cripple and the police chief are both white in-game, its just shitty art

Yas Forums? Sounds like Yas Forums.

Unironically wouldn't be mad if this was a reveal towards/at the end after having fun times

The more I think about it the more I hope it's either not cannon or people don't take as kindly to the Chimera Squad
People were literally enslaved by Aliens for years, 5 years is not anywhere near enough realistic time to get over racism/literal xenophobia
Let alone "hey remember those races that enslaved everyone and killed your grandmother?"
"yeah"
"haha they're in positions of power now"
I'm depressed because I can feel them not taking that angle but I'd love it

More than just not bad, I think it would be great. As long as they keep the buddy buddy shit down to reflect the fact there's no way people just overcame years of xenophobia and that this is some forced partnership, the story can still turn out great.

We don't know anything about the plot details for sure right? It could still end up with them allying together due to having no choice and a fallout in the end.

finally somebody making sense

Yeah, kill yourself faggot!

then after the fallout some bonds will have been made along the way people will be open to the idea of working with aliens even though many outright distrust them the worst actors on both sides will come to blows and a happy medium can be met
>i hope xcom dosent ever get to the happy medium part imo
>but if they are pushin for it something like this needs to happen first

God I can just picture the articles praising this game on tranny journo websites already.

the signing of the European Coal and Steel Community, the predecessor to the EU, happened 6 years after WW2

It literally says "fragile post war peace." Nothing suggests everyone's just suddenly become friends. There's no evidence to suggest the game is just going to forget the fact that humans and aliens have been fighting for years. As long as they incorporate realistic attitudes to having to live with a species you've been fighting with the game can turn out fine. Some reuinfication shit like in real life with countries.
