Bloodborne
Ocarina of Time
Breath of the Wild
Outer Wilds
Nier Automata
Halo
Death Stranding
SMB3

These are the games that changed gaming forever

A2 is the only good thing in it. We need more girls like her, Kainé and Zero.

played it after bayonetta, got bored pretty fast.

That's true, because unfortunately the only good game ever created is Halo 2. One day maybe we'll see another good game, but it's unlikely.

Nah, it's pretty great.

Taro certainly has a type.

>Breath of the Wild
what is so revolutionary about it

>Literal whore who was meaningless in the story until last act

Nah fuck that, if anyone should have been a third character it should have been 8b.

And it's extremely problematic.

I think the story is pretty unique and engaging. The music is absolutely stellar, a perfect OST.
I really liked the robot designs, they're great enemies. I also appreciated all the little connections and callbacks to original Nier.
The gameplay is serviceable and can be fun. I don't see what's wrong with it really. What are your issues with it?

>meaningless in the story until last act

you mean ALL the characters in Nier Automata?

I'm literally playing it for the first time right now and I'm having a blast. It's probably already in my top 10 games off all time. The game really picks up after you move out of the city ruins for the first time.

Were we the bad guys Yas Forums ?

Honestly why did we attack innocent machines minding thier business.

I agree with this user.

Also would say it's one of the more visually appealing games from recent times. The particle effect in certain areas is beautiful.

The open world is pretty well designed too. I think the designers for N:A would've done amazing jobs with a grasslands or winter/mountain area.

They're machines user, they don't have feelings like us androids.

If it didn't have 2B it'd be seen as a 60/100 piece of shit it is.

That's not a "type". Taro just solved the "perfect woman" problem.

Is any world in vidya as fucked as Niers?

>Caim and Angelus shart out of the sky and bring a 10,000 story woman with them
>She braps a disease that kills basically everyone
>Those that aren't killed become monsters and kill everyone else
>Finally mankind manages to cull them by forcing teenagers and children to huff drugs and bayonet charge
>Disease relapses and kills everyone again
>Only solution is to suck out your own soul and wait for the disease to starve to death
>The shells you created for afterwards become sentient and reject you
>Your entire race dies 3,000 years of suffering and insanity later
>Your shells die out too and all that's left are the robot jannies made to take care of your usurpers
>Oh also aliens have invaded and unleashed robots that nuke 80% of what's left
Even when hell invaded in DOOM there wasn't such a fucking mess.

I'd agree that Route A is kind of mediocre, but I loved the game going forwards from there.

Not really, because everything is either dumb, absurd or told so poorly that all those events carry zero impact with each one being more irrelevant than the last.

solid 8
i liked it and not for the meme ass

It would just have a smaller cult following. The people who are big fans of the game like it because of the story.

>What are your issues with it?
That people like it.

Why do you feel like it's your responsibility to moderate what people enjoy?

It is an undeniable masterpiece. One of the greatest games ever created, and a top-tier champion of the 2010s.

Ok Kaine.

You never played it??
It's absolutely the most non-patronizing game made in decades. A game that harnesses the players' own desire to have an adventure, and lets them loose in a wide, un-caged world, with freedom to do just about anything they desire.

That's right.

A2 smells. SMELLS!
I want to give her a bath and get shampoo in her eyes when she struggles!

Question to PC users;
Was thinking of getting this for PC because it's on sale often, but how much better does it perform compared to PS4 Pro? I assume it would be better, but I've heard that the PC port is kind of a crap job
If so, is it a case of "it's fine AS LONG AS your build doesn't include X" or more a case of "unless your build has X don't bother playing it" type deal?

There was a mod at launch to handle it. If it's not improved by now, you can just use that.

I'm with you. It has unique qualities and the freedom to do whatever you want is nice, but there's practically no high points to the game. Every dungeon is forgettable but Vah Naboris and even though the gimmick's cool, it's puzzle is over-simplistic. Dungeons should always be a priority in Zelda games but none of them feel grandiose. I think the best part of the game is Eventide island because you have to be a little clever about how you deal with your solutions, but the excitement is short-lived.
The game has a very similar experience to No Man's Sky in that there's little substance, but it's fun to explore for the first 20 hours while you're learning and mastering the mechanics.
I have faith that as long as the sequel focuses primarily on dungeons and puzzles, it could potentially be one of the best made 3D Zelda games, but BOTW just didn't do it for me.

>Halo
>Death Stranding
Leave faggot

i never heard of that fetish but i can get behind it
