My favorite game was being remade, I didn't wanna spoil it for myself and I really couldn’t be patient about it. I expected some change like how 90% was but the ending was way too much. No, you got a remake, things were remade, which included the story, it was remade into something else. The term still applies. Again, you should have expected more than what the original game entailed due to Crisis Core, Advent Children, and Dirge of Cerberus and working that stuff into the game. Just as again, there is no reason to not spoil yourself, since you were under the assumption it was the same game entirely in the first place. Just as it was your fault for buying a console months before the game was released instead of just taking the time to briefly look into the compilation and things regarding FFVII as a whole, just as its your fault that you bought a console for a singular game that wouldn't even be completed on said console in the first place.

There are a lot of possibilities that could be interesting if done right and going forward. Likely the first one is the likelihood, but a lot is possible to keep pulling big moments.
