I have a chip modded slim that I don't play. If it was a fat with fmcb I would probably play it regularly. Seeing as I have a "full" romset lying around.

My parents never bought me any new games besides like the 4 I got with it and I eventually got rid of it so lately I bought a new one and I've been playing all the vidya I never got to as a kid and its pretty nice having this entire era to explore and then when I'm done with that I can just go through PS1 games, and then get an xbox and gamecube, and follow up with 360/ps3 era shit since that's about when I started playing stuff on the PC
I played through Silent Hill 1 and 2 for the first time recently and have MGS3 up next

It's slightly loud but its lasted me for over 15 years and I still play it. Lots of kino games and can play PS1 games.

Yes but I just bought a PS3. I got a free mcboot memory card and have some PS2 games and SNES and Sega as well loaded on a flash drive. My PS2 can still play physical copies though.
Does anyone know how you play a game that originally had 4 discs if you're using an emulator? When you get to the end of disc 1, it would normally prompt you to put in disc 2. How can I do that if I have to restart the console to get to disc 2 and beyond?
I've just been copying games to the hard drive and playing them off there.

I plan on playing the first four at least, I'm just jumping to MGS3 to cool off on the horror stuff (I'm a huge pussy with horror games and I was starting to get used to it playing 1 and 2 back to back). I also borrowed MGS1 and 2 before and always kicked myself for never getting to do 3 before he moved so I'm real eager to play that

My toaster always runs into issues 10+ hours into the game (flame effect in final dungeon in Nocturne? lol 2fps for you) so I hacked my fat and run games off the HDD. Works great I just wish I could find a CRT.
