I like it too, but would pick Prey over it, the changes they made to it over 2016 really didn't fly well with me, fuck that artstyle change and those third person cut scenes.

I have mixed feelings about Prey. On one hand, there's a lot about it I like: the level design, the gameplay, the retrofuturistic theme, and so forth. On the other hand, I found it difficult to really get engaged with the plot and characters, the enemies are rather bland, the zero-gravity sections felt rather monotous, and I came away feeling rather unfulfilled by the end of it all.

Originally, I thought it would be something like a cult classic, but now I am not so sure. Mind you, I still think it's a good game, but it could have used some of the more "wtfscifi" stuff that was in the older Prey.

This game seemed really interesting before launch but then it didn't get great reviews so I skipped it.

Playing on hard is fine if you pay attention to what you're doing. As for the savescumming I won't blame you, as long as you enjoy the game it doesn't matter there's no set rules saying how you should play, however I will say that you're missing out on the core gameplay since the habit of quicksaving prevents you from exploring all the possibilities at your hand to solve problems.

My only complain is that many of the powers feel too samey.

Honestly the powers are one of the weaker parts of the game. By the end you're just too strong with them.

at least in ss2 you didn't have access to an infinite amount of cyber modules, unlike in prey where you can craft as many neuromods as you want

Not that fag but early game requires some skill or patience on hard, later when the skills/powers start rolling in you turn into a god.
it's a simulation user, irl wise I doubt the devs could balance a game where you're given that much control and freedom.

Hard didn't seem to be any different from normal. Very easy game.
