Fighting retarded AI isn't too fun and fighting cheatijg AI in Arcade isn't better either. I just do Casual Matches. Fanservice is good though.

I liked it. It was better than seeing the same DBZ arcs for the millionth time.

It was literally exactly the same shit as the Buy arc.

But with Buubs

Does people like Android 21 for any other reason besides her design and vore fetish?
Always found it such a poor character, part of Toriyama's obsession with retconning previous stories and introducing new relatives that came out of nowhere to already established characters.

I like most Buu designs and her regular design is nice. I can live without the vore stuff.

Except it wasn't at all.

They didnt tested jack shit. They only cared to have a DBZ game for tournaments.
The online isnt that good and took them months to add more modes. The "arcade" mode is horrible, because cpu damage is just plain stupid and specials do damage from 50 to 80% while raising ki super fast which was obnoxious

>story mode
>3 "different" campaigns
>same kind of fights, over and over and over, but easy as shit
>only last map has AI with some brains but retarded damage and defense

No, it was terrible, not even hard mode is good.
It could be the same story again, but that mode would be shit. Only good things were the interactions between characters and talking to your character, but is not worth to play those 3 campaigns for like 12 hours.

What was up with that whole ''(you) are possesing DBZ characters''? What was that about? Did it matter in the end? Didn't Bamco did the whole self insert thing previously with Xenoverse and Fusions much more effectively?

There has never been a good single player campaign in a fighting game.

BlazBlue nails being a VN exceptionally well
But you better get ready for its insane amount of lore

I was referring to the actual story itself. The gameplay loop could have used some work. Maybe a more fully fleshed out RPG system instead of just having levels.

Because Dragon Ball's story is and has always been shit. So naturally making a half-assed side story out of it was only going to be even worse.

Mortal Kombat Deception has a great campaign.

Weapons Master mode is pretty fun

It had great interactions and character writing but mindless combat. You couldn't even have fun mixing and matching equips by grinding EXP/levels like any other skinnerbox RPG because the enemies scaled with you. There was literally no reason to not keep everyone at around the same level. The weak "SRPG" type gameplay was also incredibly uninspired. You may as well just have been selecting fights from a dropdown menu, no real strategy to it at all.

Both these things could have been fixed but they didn't because they knew fighting game fags wouldn't care about the story. At the very least they could have made it like the Budokai Tenkaichi games where you fly around and find fights and leveling/equips on your character matter.

>Tardkufag is gay.
Imagine my shock.

>not liking the barebones, most common denominator tier waifubait means you're gay
based retard

WRONG. There used to be good campaigns. Now nobody cares because it's all about esports faggotry. They'll actually get complaints if they spend time on a decent single player mode from esports tards because they'll whine that the time could have been spent making a new character instead.

In short, it was a way of making Yamcha and others useful because souls would make characters at "same" level and that allowed evil 21 to eat them easily.

Fuck the story. I cant forgive them for killing 16 FOR 3 TIMES

Some Soul Calibur games did it right.
Butouden 2, Budokai 1 and 3, Tenkaichi 2, Supersonic Warriors were fun. Best one was clearly Shin Budokai 2 for the PSP, that one was the Buu Saga in Future Trunks future.

UWAAAAAAAAAGH

It's still better than using same original story and redoing it in a game form.

It wasn't even the original 16 though, just a copy.

Doc, what's up with this bootleg dose?

>western esports fags
>happy that new fighter happens
>companies use them to promote the game and they lick their balls
>game is out and they bash the game months later because of this and that
>play online and say the game is unplayable
>change to PC because it plays "better"
>get owned online but still blame the other guy's connection and how game isnt good online
>when winning online start screaming to himself "that was od"
>go to tournaments and lose to asians
>get home, make a stream, get all salty and say the game isnt fun anymore
>play another fighter
>repeat

Some of these guys are the worse.

People take fighting games too seriously. I remember when people could have fun even if charactes were unbalanced.

>dumb excuse to explain why fighers go 1v1 instead of ganging up on enemies
>forces you to play 3 different campaigns of the same encounters but with a gimmick of having to play a board game.
>Story itself is dumb just a typical DBZ movie but without any interesting mooks for the gang to fight since they can only fight themselves

I literally don't understand since MvC2 is one of the most broken unbalanced piece of shit games out there but it's like a holy relic of worship to FGC fags. Yet nowadays if a character has a slightly difficult to get out of corner loop they call that character busted, the game broken, and refuse to give it the time of day.

Nostalgia. And since others say MvsC2 is the holy grail they have to say it too so they wont be out of the group.
