CRYSIS REMASTERED CONFIRMED. CRYTEK MESSED WITH ONE OF THE WEB PAGES.
"From the makers of Far Cry, Hunt: Showdown and CRYENGINE, Crysis offers first person shooter fans the best-looking, evolved, and innovative gameplay, enabling players to adapt in real time to survive. Crysis Remastered brings new graphic features, high-quality textures, and the CRYENGINE's native hardware- and API-agnostic ray tracing solution for PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and – for the very first time – Nintendo Switch."
I hate the word Remasted, it almost means Demastered nowdays

I wanna bet they reduce a lot of the shit in crysis. I've replayed it 1 year ago on my 1060gtx. The tech in crysis is STILL more impressive than zoomershit like doom eternal

Isn't the point of making ridiculously demanding games that they dont need to be remastered?
Sebastian Young
Better be 60fps on base consoles and not trash performance on pc
They could rework how the game uses CPU because at the time of its production it was thought that the future would be few cores and massive GHz and not a ton of cores with moderate GHz.
Andrew Murphy
Watch them get rid of maximum strength and speed like they did with cr*sis 2
really all this needs is better textures and better cpu support for multicore but crytek will fuck that up.
Luis Edwards
I suspect this might be the Switch version. The PC/PS4/XBO versions will get the custom ray tracing and enhanced textures and stuff like that. Switch will likely get a slightly improved version.
>have bunch of money >risk bunch of money by making new game >risk bunch of money by making next game in series, with terrible fandrones giving you bad marketing >risk almost no money by taking old game, letting some poor vietnamese 'It experts' work at it for 12 months and release it for free bucks
They're adding that custom ray tracing solution they showed off a while back.
Isaac Jackson
>have bunch of money >crytek lol
they're fucking ruined right now, this is probably their last resort to try and get some money back in the machine before it's too late (it already is, by the way)
>switch HAHAHAHAHHAHA
Jaxon Gutierrez
it's a remaster, i bet they are using the same old engine of crysis 1
