Kino happened.

It was great.

They reskinned farcry

i will drop a black pill about this game; it was made after studios relocated to a mafia island. the mafia central of EU

I'm glad it was on Game Pass. Would have felt remorseful had i spent $60 on it.

Identity crisis. They tried making Metro into something it was not. Underground sections were still pretty good though

Last Light happened, retards liked it, and the series sucks now.

>premise of 2033 and LL
There is no hope. Everything's fucked and all you can do is delay the inevitable.
>premise of Exodus
>Nothing's fucked and there's a world full of hope (^:

Too bad the DLC isn't, and I don't care enough to pirate it.

>Buy our new game or we won't release the next for PC, Reeeeeee

Idiotic Slavdevs trying to hold their mediocre franchise hostage to make more money.

Fell for the open world meme. Linear story-driven games are best

>Identity crisis. They tried making Metro into something it was not.
They followed the narrative from the books.

some user said that book author went pants on his head retarded with third book and whatever good of it was salvaged into game. I wouldn't know, didn't read them books.
game was a dissapointment, departure for open world shouldn't be THAT shocking after that swamp section in last light, but still, didn't like it. I liked metro for being corridor shooter with stealth sections, odd bastardization of stalker into splinter cell game was not what i expected.
if there will be another game, they'd better go full stalker on it with scavenging abandoned post-apocalyptic worlds and don't even try with story cause unique metro setting was murdered.

I don't know but since the reduxes were worse versions of the originals I ignored exodus. If you're happy putting out shitty products once, it could happen again.

Wow this thread is one of the most severe cases of OLD GOOD NEW BAD I've seen in a while. Is exodus really that bad or is this just a case of a niche community mad that a sequel isn't the same thing but with 1 new mechanic?

we all played it for free on the gamepass

Everything after the first game (og version) is garbage, and you're a hollywood jew, dick-sucking mongoloid if you disagree.

It's a 6/10. Very mediocre across the board. The first 30 minutes and last 30 minutes are the best parts, which are separated by a shitty version of Stalker.

Fuck you the library stalkan dlc for last light was pretty good. The rest is shit, but that specifically deserves exception.

>Didn't get the good endings

I feel sorry for you

This just sounds like it's not actually bad but just doesn't live up to the expectations you had after playing another game you seemingly really enjoy.

A good game trying to be a bad game

For some reason I found the gameplay really clunky, slow and boring

It's not as bad as people are making it out to be. They're half right in that they should have just gone full blown STALKER rather than the half baked shit.

Shitty open world meme that didn't add anything valuable to the gameplay. Good game though.

If you like easy, Hollywoodized dumpster fires, then dive right in.

the only good game in the series was the first one, last light was okay-ish and exodus i couldnt get past the first 2 hours. rip metro franchise

Its not bad, its also not good. I feel a bit like I was ripped off and I didn't even buy it. The only interesting free roaming is the first map, the other two after it are garbage, the game just runs out of steam three hours in.

Fair enough I suppose. I haven't played any of the games despite owning 2 but I probably won't even bother at this point. Shame it turned out like this but thanks for saving me from wasting time at least.

I got it Xbone and the unresponsive controls crushed any desire i had of playing it.

I first though it was a settings thing, but apparently you do have to press down the run button for 10 seconds hoping it will work.

I tried again several months later, but it still sucked and i wonder if they are ever gonna fix it.

>but just doesn't live up to the expectations you had after playing another game you seemingly really enjoy
Well, yeah - it's a sequel. It has expectations set by the previous installment(s). And it needs to live up to those, otherwise it's a disgrace to its own franchise.

Epic store, all hype died instantly, and its not like there was a massive amount to begin with.
I thought it was 10/10 though

Garbage
