If you don't like it, make your own OS
Apparently you're also too dumb to use google

Okay, so what?
8.1 is so based and comfy

That's literally it

only boomers will understand
did it actually ever matter? did you actually used to lose files?
>cmd pops up for a split second and disappears
I'm a truck driver stuck at home because i can't do my job of moving shit across the country, of course i have no idea
>command prompt randomly opens and then quickly disappears
svchost.exe is kind of a generic executable that hosts those tons of services that Windows needs running on the background to work properly
you can disable most of those if you don't use them, for example you can disable printer, audio or Wi-Fi services if you, for some reason, never use them, and free up a bit of RAM in the process
>SkypeApp.exe using 200,000k+ memory again
>haven't used Skype since 2015
I actually scratched a fucking floppy, how the fuck do you scratch a floppy btw, once because I didn't wait for that and janked the thing out.
So it actually mattered.
Linux nerds can't relate
>customer ancient 20gb IDE hard drive seizes. Full of programs that are now impossible to get hold of

>drive spins up, machine boots, get a good clone of the drive.
On win10, somehow groove, edge, store, sykpe and movies apps are always on and running duplicate processes although I never use them. They're also marked UWP which, I guess, translates to they don't use resources unless they're actively running.
Its still a horrible design when you have a function that keeps replicating itself on runtime, which you don't actually need or use, even if it is an "app/UWP" by microsoft standards. Its like its inspired by viruses to reach as many customers as it is inhumanly possible.
I see, so if a shit ton of them pop up out of nowhere it would be quite alarming then
Where do I download a virus? I have an extra laptop that I don't use anymore and I just want to expirement or something.
>a job where you bring stores things that you don't have to unload or touch while you sit comfy in your cabin not getting sick
>somehow can't do this because ????
How
1) Anons are scared of everything because they pirate from TPB russians.
2) It's literally just Windows splitting up the processes so that when one thing fails, it doesn't crash your computer. It then looks ridiculous, and extremely suspicious, because you then have like 30 svchosts open. And of course because Win 10 is coded by pajeets, everything crashes for other reasons.
There are some people on YT like SomeOrdinaryGamers that does this stuff a lot and explains where he gets them. You can also test the shit on virtual machines.
Percussive maintenance is a real thing that is suggested with older hardware
My mom, since she was around PCs from the very start had a funny anecdote about one of Apple's old drive peripherals for the Apple 2 where the fix for a certain problem was literally hold it a foot off the floor and drop it until the problem went away

use Yas Forums without uBlock Origin
basically a blanket name for windows services that run in the background. just another reason to switch to linux.
