Why would you play a game more than once? You already experienced over 90% of what it has to offer, the remaining 10% are probably not worth it compared to experiencing over 90% of another games content.
Why would you play a game more than once? You already experienced over 90% of what it has to offer...
Probably because you enjoy it?
You'd enjoy playing another game way more
Why would you watch a movie more than once? You already experienced over 90% of what it has to offer, the remaining 10% are probably not worth it compared to experiencing over 90% of another movie's content.

You already made this thread yesterday, fag.
That may be true for you, but not for everyone.
Right, a stranger on the internet knows what is best for me and what's more entertaining for me

Sometimes playing it again gives you a new perspective or allows different playstyles. Very few games offer that attractive type of replayability, though.
I wouldn't you're right

the new audience for games that got into video games during the booming nerd trend early this gen just HATES anything that takes loves and dedication. one example, as fucking retarded as it sounds, is playing a game more than once. another example is knowing more than they do on a series they just got into that is actually an old series that goes years -- or decades -- past their entry into video games; they hate long, informational posts. without knowing it, they are literally trying to make video games for "normalfags" and the like who got into -- or back into -- video games during the nerd trend after they got full off of super hero movie after super hero movie

1. The game has different playthroughs. For example, Terraria. You can play through the entire game only using ranged weapons, then do a run with only magic or only melee. It gives a different experience each time.
2. The game has a lot of options on what to do. For example, Minecraft. Every playthrough, you'll be building different bases in different locations, usually doing different things.
3. It has been a while since you played the game. If you really enjoyed a game, beat it, forgot about it for a year or two, the experience of rebeating it won't beat the same, but will still be enjoyable
4. You simply enjoy playing the game. Personal example, Celeste. I come back to that game not because I want to find something new, it's just because the movement in Celeste is just so fun to do, I can replay it over and over.
5. Challenge runs. You can play the game in harder difficulty or restrict yourself from specific mechanics. This gives the game sometimes a completely atmosphere, where the progression can be much different from the intended way.
not everyone plays games just for the novelty
some people enjoy unlocking achievements, getting really good at the game, grinding out shit loads of money/rep, finding secrets, playing mods, the list goes on

I think my favorite part about FF7 was the dating thing. I sound like such a fag saying it too. But just replaying it with talking to certain people in mind to change the story even slightly appealed to me greatly. I like when other games do that too, like when Mass Effect first did it.
Yeah you're right you do sound like a fag
I season my cutting board and not the steak instead
Why would you create the same thread more than once, Op?
real talk what's the appeal of FF7
Replaying a game after a few years? Nothing wrong with that

I wouldn't.
>>Why would you listen to a song more than once? You already experienced 90% of what it has to offer, the remaning 10% are probably not worth it compared to experiencing over 90% of another songs content.
Because there's not enough good songs in the world. If there were, and I had a means of finding them, I would.

I wouldn't unless it's non-fiction and I'm factchecking

Because a person has a life and thus conversations have new content each time.
