If it was somewhere else then you probably committed a crime in front of someone and they were already on alert. I've never had cops randomly attack me for no reason in dozens of playthroughs.

Exactly what the fuck is it that people see in this game then? So far it's been ass. Wandering around the clinic for ages, nothing to do except give some thot my blood, which does fucking nothing, and pick up some pills, most of which do fucking nothing.

Then I did this retarded sidequest where a serial killer calls the apartment of a guy he captured and killed for some fucking reason and invites me over to get murdered, so I go over and run through the goofy haunted house of generic serial killer shit. Then I meet the guy I'm supposed to find who helpfully tells me that the obvious trope of a serial killer is a serial killer. Then there's a shitty fight that I died on multiple times because enemies are apparently allowed to block whenever they want and make counter-hits while the player is stuck with slow swings, which is just awesome. But then I realized that the bloodboost whatever is an instant win button, so that's also awesome. Then I sat through some of the worst voice acting I've ever heard in my life as the guy I rescued told me he LOST MUH TRIGGER FINGER so I had to go see the other guy who told me that since that dude LOST HIS TRIGGER FINGER he had sidequests to give me. Then I couldn't follow his directions, and the cops started shooting for no reason. And that's probably all I'll ever play of Bloodlines.
