Gernations was good aside from 4 out of the 9 levels being city based.

2006 is probably a more inept game but Sonic 4 is definitely both less fun to play and much more infuriating for what it represents, so I would be very comfortable calling Sonic 4 the worst Sonic game.

I know this is still in development but that level design is extremely bland and almost Sonic Advance 2 tier "Hold forward to win." Hopefully they can make actual classic sonic style stages.

I'm leaning on Generations or Sonic 4 being shit. Both give the illusion of going back to the classics but then you realize Sonic 4 looks janky as shit and Generations can't even get the fundamentals of 2D Sonic right.

It was a really stupid idea to make levels based on exploring and time traveling for a character that’s designed for a character who go fast and has a timer.
It takes the waiting and slow down parts from sonic 1 and takes a huge nose dive in shit.
It’s the only classic sonic game that I really hate. Special stages and music are fun though.

Generations Classic is a little jank but it was still decently fun to play, even if Mania kinda made it a joke.

Episode 2 is okay. Won’t replay it any time soon though.

Incorrect. It was a stupid idea to make a game based on exploring and time traveling, and having levels that are intentionally designed to waste your time and go out of their way to break any sense of flow you possibly could have.

Who ever thought that it was a good idea to kill all forward momentum the instant you stop pushing forward needs to be castrated.
