Well, the narrative is only impressive if this is literally the first piece of Sci-Fi you've ever consumed and the concept of androids acting like humans is mindblowingly original to you.
The game itself is fairly bland, though some praise should be given for the way the positioning of the camera keeps changing the genre on you.
2B has a nice ass, it's true. Though personally I think she's like Bayonetta in the sense that she's so overly sexualized that it stops being titillating. Whether you consider this a strength or weakness is entirely up to your preference.
Ultimately it's probably because the game has you play through it twice over that a lot of fans develop a sort of stockholm syndrome where they feel compelled to defend their time sunk into running around fighting the 3 same enemy types endlessly.
