Are you ready for him? He's coming. You can't stop it. It's happening.
God I hope he appears just to piss people off even more

I didn't like Crisis Core enough to finish. Is he just gay redheaded Sephiroth?
He's Nomura's boyfriend Gackt.
Imagine if V from DMC was more of an asshole, full of vitality, and thought he was the coolest guy in the room.
He is coming. Hojo mentioned Projet G and S.
So Vergil.
Cloud : Roche
Sephiroth : Genesis
?
sounds fun
real question is, will the remake cover DoC or just have stuff from it added to wherever the plot is going?
Remake is so screwy that they could just merge stuff from Crisis Core, DoC, and FFVII and call it canon. Basically overwriting all the older games because fuck you.
>Sephiroth is a good guy because Chaos/Omega eventually happened anyway
Pretty much. His chunni level was too high for most people.
THATS NO WAY TO TALK TO A HERO
>*BLASTS YOU IN THE FUCKING FACE POINT BLANK*
they've already included three characters from an obscure side novel about the turks (kyrie, leslie, and merle) so i'd say anything is fair game at this point.
>You will live to see Genesis finally get a Bring Arts figure
Nomura like Geckt too much. He'll be in
To be honest, Chaos being a thing on this remake timeline would make an interesting excuse to have Sephiroth temporarily team up with Cloud's gang though
He's Poochy the Dog but Japanese
>OC donut who the audience is told they're the most important person in the story but we never see much beyond poetry recitals and dime-a-dozen antagonism
>Every side character looks up to him and always mentions him when he's not on screen
>Is the main force behind every event in Crisis Core
>Zack even forgives Genesis for trying to kill him multiple times
>The planet literally made his waifu real because it found his fanfiction addition to an old poem that moving
>Sephiroth handled learning his wasn't human just fine until Genesis showed up and basically says 'lol monster' which hurt his feelings so hard he razed Nibelheim to the ground in response
>When Omega weapon is defeated in Dirge of Cerberus, the planet revives Genesis and imbues him with even more strength because he is now it's best hope of survival.
Hojo also mentions G-cells in FF7R so it's a guarantee he's back baby
INFINITE IN MYSTERY IS THE GIFT OF THE GODDESS
What the fuck was his connection to Deepground? Congrats, they picked him up after getting his shit pushed in but that doesn't explain what he was doing in DoC or why
I don't know who this is.
Why don't you like him?
Shinra's Tunnel Snakes were a collective attempt to replicate Genesis but failed to provide anything substantial so it was buried. Genesis comes back and decided to take his clone brother-sons under his literal wing for reasons.
I would be fine with it.
Genesis > Whispers
He's not so bad when he's not quoting Loveless (which is only like two dialogues in the entire game), but still.
>when he's not quoting Loveless
I'd bet top dollar that reception to him would have been flipped if was in DMC instead of FF.
I rather have Genesis than the time jannies
His boss theme is pretty great
youtu.be
Didn't he get me too'd in Japan a few years ago? But all it seems like he does lately is play poker and do stage shows so I guess he has the free time
Makes sense. Thanks Genesis. Hope to see you and Weiss in the future in Part 3 of FF7R you plot tumours
he was a cuck that got mogged by Sephiroth
>>OC donut who the audience is told they're the most important person in the story but we never see much beyond poetry recitals and dime-a-dozen antagonism
True, but Zack is still the most important person in the story.
>>Every side character looks up to him and always mentions him when he's not on screen
Not really, most people only look up to him because he's a 1st Class SOLDIER, much like Angeal, Sephiroth, and later Zack, even then only Angeal and Sephiroth really look at him. Angeal turns on him despite them being best friends, and Sephiroth still views him as a friend.
>>Is the main force behind every event in Crisis Core
Its actually mostly Hojo and Hollander. Also of course he is, Genesis is still the primary antagonist.
>>Zack even forgives Genesis for trying to kill him multiple times
Zack basically forgives everyone to an extent.
>>The planet literally made his waifu real because it found his fanfiction addition to an old poem that moving
Minerva was already real and why the poem exists in the first place.
>>Sephiroth handled learning his wasn't human just fine until Genesis showed up and basically says 'lol monster' which hurt his feelings so hard he razed Nibelheim to the ground in response
Not entirely true, he had beliefs he was part of the experiment as well but had no real concrete proof and pushed it out of his mind until Genesis came and basically confirmed it. Then he spent days researching before it finally just broke him. Yes sure Genesis is the primary reasoning for that, but Sephiroth would have turned one way or the other once he started diving into those books.
>>When Omega weapon is defeated in Dirge of Cerberus, the planet revives Genesis and imbues him with even more strength because he is now it's best hope of survival.
Genesis just survived Crisis Core and put himself into stasis because he still felt he was the hero and he needed to be that person now that Angeal and Sephiroth were gone. Nothing to do with Omega.
Depends, a lot of people don't like V either honestly. But you are probably right in that more people would like him, though there are some people that like him just fine. I think he's fine when he's talking like a normal person and isn't quoting the same 3-4 passages from Loveless constantly. Which is part of the difference between the two. V has a collection of tons of real life poems they can always quote, Genesis has Loveless a very small and singular poem in which he is fixated on.
I domt mind him after the time jannies
