Do we at least admit that there are dozens of amazingly fun games on the Phone and the only thing stopping most of us is that we are poor?
Raid Shadowlegends alone would destroy 99% of whats on the market if it were free.

I use my phone for calls and texts
Play Galaxy on Fire 2, a dark room, Infinity Blade trilogy, NOVA trilogy, and Halcyon 6!

Damn I want to mindbreak these smug sluts so bad.
>baiting this hard for attention
did you run out of wojacks or what?
Seems like a good thread to ask in, but what's a good gaming tablet in current year of 2020? With the stimulus coming sooner than later, I'm considering upgrading from my 2016 Nvidia Tablet to something nicer that can hopefully run Rockman X DiVE very well in the performance category.
Used to play GoF.
Once you reach endgame it's pretty lame isn't it? Either pick the cool alien ship or the efficient human ship or that 3rd one in the icon...
Anyone know any good idle rpgs?
It's fun trying to try to get every ship in the kaamo club.
>low quality
That's just the normal resolution on mobile.
true
You can't just use a phone like it's some kind of... PHONE!!!
What games do you play?
I'm STILL waiting for the Slay the Spire mobile port.
>flatshit
why do I love these shitty comic strips so much?
Can phone-chan handle a PC game, I think its far too big, might not fit through her port.
only good thing my phone is for is cooming when im too lazy to put on my vr headset or get out of bed
cute grills
This shit is clearly b8, but I'm gonna reply anyway.
I think people need to take into account is the method by which mobile gaming goes about its advertisements is very akin to early advertisement on the Internet circa 2000 to 2008.
It is NOT that phones are incapable of making great games or running them, it's that the market, culture, and business model around them looked at the casual Karen who played Bejewled between bouts of yelling at some poor nigger to recook her fucking Big Mac, saw how mindlessly they ate shit up without queston, and then took the worst aspects of bush-era internet and thought: let's market to people the very same, invasive, suspicious, virus-laden way we did 20 years ago!
Again, the technology to do good games is there - phones can run emulators for consoles from 2 generations ago without trouble. But the market is flooded with people who treat that sphere of the market like it's 2005.
For some of the younger zoomer people this was the era of Congratulations, You Won - Back before the Internet got sterilized and cleaned up by corporations, we were always taught to avoid clicking on suspicious links, and advertisers of the day usually went out of their way to be as invasive as possible. They used to take the form of popups that could not be exited without opening task manager. Often, they would incorporate impossible to stop sound, long before "tabs" showed you where the noise was coming from. In addition, this was the era of "Shocksites" - it was not uncommon for people to disguise links to things like 2 Girls 1 Cup or Pain Olympics in e-greeting cards and emails.

That Megaman / Rockman X DiVE game was the only thing I really played on my phone, though I have FF9 on there and I had some stuff like FEH / FFBE that I used to play on my old tablet and older phone. I figured if I get a decent enough tablet that it'll future proof in case something nice comes down the line eventually or perhaps I could use it to play some roms or even stream Steam games to it.
Semi-related, but I'm in the market for a sandbox MMO kind of game where I can build something and people can see it and possibly crafting vehicles for travel like old school MMOs let you do, but I doubt mobile games have anything like that. Do they even have MMOs for Android / iOS?
For people like me who spent their adolescence pirating music during this time with things like Limewire, I would like to stress that file sharing in this era was like having unprotected sex with a South Bronx hooker - There was a not insignificant chance that your computer could get something extremely deadly to the point of it getting bricked. (Or good god forbid, something illegal like Cheese Pizza) But It's not just the mobile gaming ads of today - the hostility carried over across generations, for Millenial to Z - advertisements in general that are treated with extreme suspicion because the last 20 years before the Internet got cleaned up was very much a wash with cold war style paranoia that any missed click could body your machine. Personal experience; I got an ad once while doing research on my mom's computer for a school project, (No, it honestly WASN'T porn, I had my own computer for that) and, on my way to shut it off, my new kitten walked over my hand, making me click the thing. WHAM. Boot sector virus.
Unless you do extensive jailbreaking on a mobile device you're not going to be able to get the level of ad blocking potential that your desktop or laptop will by merely installing an extension on your browser. This is why the mobile market is so bad, because there is no effective way to stop the flow of advertisement. Yet it goes far deeper than that considering how openly fraudulent the mobile market actually is. Remember when people used to make memes about mafia city? All jokes aside who here knows that they openly and blatantly stole Sam Fisher's model from splinter cell? Why have to this day they not gotten in legal trouble with Ubisoft about it?
In addition to the games just being terrible and the advertisement being fraudulent you must understand that the 3rd issue at play is a 20 year culture of being extremely suspicious about ads and more importantly having to actively fight against them.

Tragedy of the commons.
Also phone controls are utter shite. Not tactile feedback except bzzt, no pressure triggers OR mouse aiming. No strengths of consoles or PC. Tap tap tap. Screen space also limits compelxity. There's a reason all they're all balloon popper or a port of something else.
>this is clearly bait, but im gonna reply anyway
fuckin- oh wait I FUCKING BITED IT AAAAAAAAAAAH
Then, to top it off, the fucking mobile market got so invasive, the premium price (60 buck tag) games look at what they were doing and said "We can put that in ours too!"
They looked at the world's LCD - the simps, karens, and mindless NPCs that have to by every annual installment of something - and allowed the worst aspects of pre-gigabit internet to fester overtop. So it did nothing more but serve to scare away us boomers. You could have done so much cool shit with phones, but you squandered it, and now EVERY market decided "Let's turn it all into a casino, bruh!"
God I want to fuck a wolf girl
I agree. I have been halfheartedly looking for something basic (action games on a touchscreen are trash) to play that isn't ad-ridden when I am having to be idle somewhere. I see "Dots Two" on the store and download it. Excellent presentation, ads aren't really annoying or anything... but it quickly becomes clear the game is about RNG and trying to make you feel like you almost beat something so you'll break down and buy extra attempts. It's like playing slots as a connect 3. Immediately uninstalled. The only decent games I've found and enjoyed were
>Night of the Full Moon
>Numbers Game
>Color Game (forget what it's called, but it's just rearranging colors into gradients)
>Rogue Adventure
>Cryptography
There are a few other basic sudoku/slitherlink games which aren't bad, either. Maybe I should make a basic fishing game that isn't ad-ridden or something like that and throw it out there. It seems like basic games which would work well with a touchscreen like golf or fishing are criminally underutilized because people want big flashy shit and there's no money there.
I hate flat and trashtalk
Why am I filled with an insurmountable level of desire to bend them over and just turn them into an onahole?
Because of their hips.
I can get png images for free on image search nigga, touch screen sucks horse dick for any non turn based game.
switch chan is best girl, all other chans are sad and coping hard
I only use my phone as a phone and watching youtube and shit posting on 4chins.
80% the breeding material hips, 20% the hate. Disdain for someone usually turns into aggressive lust if they are also attractive.
The joke to these clearly western anime styled comics is always the artstyle. There is nothing beyond 'look it's anime'
Ironically, most mobile games are third-world trash from Indian or Chinese sweatshops.
Just look at Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, it's a very stupid Chink bootleg game that only stupid third-world street shitters play.
It has terrible cartoony animations that would fit in more on a Sony cartoon like Hotel Transylvania or The Emoji Movie than something with bootleg anime designs, the models look worse than Dreamcast graphics, the 2D animation is very poorly done that it makes Twinkle Nora Rock Me look like The Thief and the Cobbler by comparison, the worst voice acting I've ever heard, stolen bootleg character designs, and the stupidest ads ever made, also, it's a bootleg mockbuster of League of Legends and Arena of Valor.
Also, Raid: Shadow Legends has ugly character designs that make Cats look like a Final Fantasy game by comparison.
This.
