Games that have aged like fine wine

Games that have aged like fine wine.
I will start.

>identical rooms and hallways in an expansive 2-3 hour level
At least the weapons make up for it

Just replayed this absolute gem. Still maneuvers like a dream, and every single location is unique and tightly designed. Except Mario Zone, fuck it.

Both those games were really good.

>those over the top weapons
More games need shit like that.

More games DO have that, though.
They just die because they're indie games on steam that get no attention.

Name one.

Good pick OP

Given the faster-paced gameplay that has seen a comeback in recent FPS, I'd say Dinosaur Hunter has aged better than Seeds of Evil.

I'd prefer turok 2 over 1 if it had better level design. both are still good though.

i still cant beat this game to this day. what a brutal fucking childrens game man

The remaster did SO MUCH JUSTICE to this masterpiece. It's a must have for metroid-prime likes.

I like the enemies, setting, maps, and weapons better in two, but I also didn't play the first one until it was ported to switch. I grew up playing 2 so I could have a little bit of the members.

>metroid prime likes
You are aware that turok 1 and 2 both came out years before prime, right?

That may have been the case in the original, but if you honestly take more than an hour to beat any of the levels in the remaster you just suck.

Prime should be called a Turok-like then

Kirby Super Star

Its honestly flawless.

My only issue with super star is that it's way too easy, but I cant call that a "flaw" per se.

Fully agreed.

Search your hearts, you know it to be true

Do people still play?

>fat man walks through walmart
>this is how the death marshes song was made

Played both for the first time recently. Turok 1 aged way too well while 2's levels are way too long. 2's weapons carry it though, and the levels are generally more memorable than they were in 1. However, the structure and gameplay of 1 is more fun overall. That movement speed combined with the gunplay and platforming was fucking awesome.

The hive in 2 and those clicking sounds the roaches made can go fuck themselves though.

Should I emulate Turok Evolution? Ive played the first 2 but havent touched any of the others. I heard Evolution had good level design and weapons but other than that know nothing about it

Not only that but Turok's devs, Iguana, became Retro.

It's a single player game, so yes.
