Ok bros, as you told me, I marathoned the entire DR3 anime. Can someone explain me what the fuck was this entire shit? Was the entire purpose of the anime series to leech of the franchise as much as they could? I mean, I didn't find any contradictions in the story as some of you told me, but the fuck?
The most random killing game of all was only to make the certain NEET fuckboi to post an hyponitizing video full of HOPE, for absolutely no reaosn. Also killing random characters that had literally zero to no reason to even exist, and making a legendary asspull of Kirigiri's death as well. Also, the only thing that I don't get is the fact that why the fuck Hajime is a literal god now?
I'm gonna be pirating V3 but holy shit, after all the shit that I saw today, I don't even think I'm ready to play V3. Like, seems tremendously pointless at this moment.
I wonder, how do people watching DR3 do it nowadays? Because when it aired it had a gimmick of alternating between the Future and Despair stories, that was the intended watch order. But yes it's shit, was just fun for memes. It has almost no connection to V3 at all. Basically has an off-hand cameo appearance, no actual plot relevance.
Gabriel Parker
Same order. Watching 1 future and 1 past episode, cause otherwise it would not make any sense
Jack Hall
I watched it after it aired in that way. Downloaded both arcs and when I finished one episode of Future Arc I moved on to that respective episode of Despair Arc
Colton White
>Neet boy posting HOPE video 80% of the world was still overrun by despair followers, despite Junko death and the super despair students being captured >Killing random characters Basically both D1 and SD2. Those that are presented are just the new batch of friendly killable meatfodder >Kirigiri asspull Eh, true >Hajime is god He got back all his memory and ability as the ultimate being (hope?) after hope peak experiments on him. In SD2 you play as him with memories before hope peak academy
Colton Mitchell
I did it proper watch order, the order was the most interesting part of the show honestly. Shame about everything else.
Did you not play DR2? Hajime went through human experimentation and was given a talent for talent itself, he has every talent you could possibly imagine and then some and excels at each and every one of them to a point that he's better than any of the specialists. He's broken and if he actually wanted to could resolve each and every conflict by himself The Hajime you play as only isn't a god since he's virtual with all his memories/ talents sealed away by himself
Sebastian Reed
Here's a fact. Danganronpa is better as a series if you never watch 3
Isaac Cruz
Did you even finish DR2 or skip the entire despair arc?
Ethan Sanders
Who the fuck told you to watch DR3? Everyone agrees it's not good.
I think that the conclusion to 1&2 shouldve just been a game instead of whatever the fuck that anime was supposed to be.
The despair arc answered some questions but those answers were stupid as fuck.

Yeah, believe it or not: "she's" really important to the plot later on. It's your choice on whether or not to continue, but I will say this: "Chihiro" makes an "appearance" later on in the game and in the sequel.
Its not fair bro, anyways i though the anime was shit after the 3rd episode. Reminded me of that othr anime where their lives get repeated over and over while on gets possessed and tries to kill everyone.
Jacob Gutierrez
Exactly this. Being a game could have given the crew more time to flesh out the characters that they so obviously planned to kill while also detailing the rules of the game better.
Despair arc definitely had way too much on it's plate and just barely kept atleast one good thing on it.
Chase Brooks
Watching D3 only made me realize how much more I'd prefer a slice of life spinoff about everyone just fucking around instead of the bullshit attempt at a conclusion.
Julian Moore
>he actually watched that garbage
Michael King
Yeah, this series doesn't really do well when it comes to transitioning from game to show. It's perfectly fine if you dropped it anyways, so no biggie. Also, that other anime you just described sounds sorta familiar. Do you know anything else about it?
Angel Murphy
Stupid Faggot, the order is:
>Play DR1 >Play DR Despair Girls >Play DR2 >Watch Anime Despair/Future >Shit in V3
Kys
Joseph Barnes
>Play despair girls before 2 >Get spoiled on one of the main twists While on one hand, that could save you from disappointment, that's a horrible order to play in!
Ryder Howard
The death game of the future arc was the dumbest game ever, I guess the first adaptation showed that it's hard to portray trials but this was so...shit.
Let's just introduce all these zero personality nameless fodder motherfuckets as redshirts so there's no tension in knowing who's actually in any danger because fuck me if one of the original developed characters actually died, right?
Jackson Bennett
This so much. UTDP was a leap in the right direction. I personally wouldn't mind an anime on it, but personal there needs to be a full fledged game of UTDP with extra content, maybe with some despair on the side?
Joseph Flores
And the fact that they played with your expectations twice with both Aoi and Kirigiri(characters you might actually give a shit about if they die) yet don't commit to it despite it being the least hardest path to take.
Nolan Diaz
>I missed the event of DR3 binge on Yas Forums What I'd give just to experience it just once
Kevin Rogers
Despair arc: the despair tragedy and junko's great plan was just getting an animator to make a cartoon that hypnotizes people into despair, I shit you not.
Future arc: main antagonist is a byakuya expy whose entire character is running away from his gay thoughts of Yu Narukami
