Blizzard never failed at delivering pretty females. Sylvanas might be covered up now but she, Jaina, Tyrande, the new elven whore, Greymane daughter, Leah from Diablo 3, etc they are all pretty.
Blizzard ALWAYS delivers pretty women. Even in Overwatch.

Not sure about most schools but when I was growing up in the early 2000s we were taught that magazines and shit has put the wrong image of what a woman is, and how they are "impossible standards only achieved with PHOTOSHOP" in people's heads to give all the fuck ugly girls confidence. I can definitely see people who are in charge of game studios taking this nonsense to heart and putting in "rEaL woMeN" because they're upset for being at the shit end of the social spectrum

Because game dev companies hired a bunch of women and "women". And nobody hates women more than other women do.
That's why the bulk of the feminism efforts back when feminism was a legitimate movement was all focused on getting women to work together and treat each other like allies.
So you have a bunch of women who like video games. ie nerdy women. ie the women who got sorted in with the geeks in high school because they were ugly. They may have grown into themselves since then, but deep down they're still that ugly self-conscious teenager.
And these women absolutely hate conventionally attractive women. Completely despise them.
