>You play as the resistance
You play as the resistance
Is there a game where you play as the oppressive power?
Not a single game that isn't a symmetric or rock-paper-scissors RTS/Grand Strategy
Everyone likes the underdog
Entropy Zero
And it was RIGHTEOUS
Planetside
star wars battlefront 2
the good one
Brink, though security aren't really oppressive
Both sides have valid points and are given misinformation about the other
What are some games that make "The Resistance" fun to play, and lean into the guerrilla warfare/shady shit you have to do to survive?
Liberal Crime Squad
Killzone
Command and Conquer
The oppressive power is the good guy
The resistance is the bad guy
And the devs were pretty clear on that.
Try to played that game, liked the setting but not a single soul in multiplayer, and single player campaign was a drag with bots.
Call of Duty is all about that.
>the resistance is adorable
Why did we nevee get a game where you play as a arab terrorist/ freedom fighter?
Playing as a goat herder with a rusty AK and a machete sounds more fun than being a american soldier boy with drones and air support.
Tyranny, but that game sucked
Fe3h edelgards route
Half Life OF
>Nod
>Resistance
The only thing Nod resisted was common sense
i liked how everyone was ugly in that game, it had a cool setting and style, but the gameplay was boring.
burst rifle and bulpdawn were OP, engineer and hacker were useless, skill points shouldn't be in a PVP shooter, not nearly enough maps,
map interactions and bonus challenge levels were annoying, and str vs dex builds shouldn't be in a game with maps built around parkour, which was an underutilized mechanic.
homefront: the resistance
>yu resist racism and bigotry
What the fuck, never heard of that
Overlord
I wish there was an Xcom 2 mod that framed you as much more morally ambiguous terrorists rather than clear cut freedom fighters with a mechanic revolving around managing public perception and decisions of how brutal you want your guerilla attacks on the alien regime to be
>play as the resistance
>find out they were wrong in the end
Kind of, excpet it turns out theres an even bigger badder eviler guy and youre not even all that bad
CoD:MW
MC in this game doesn’t actually receive the orders of the military and ends up not killing the scientists/security guards like their entire mission was.
Any game where you rescue a princess.
