What system has the most soulful games, and why is it pic related?

Zoomers first handheld
Milennial here, it had better games than the GB/GBC overall, and was the peak of 2D sprite art.
GBC and DS games were better though.
GBA barely had a chance to even live and was mostly just a handheld N64.
2D sprite art peaked in arcades
>GBA
>handheld N64
Could someone actually be this retarded.
I think you meant the Sega game gear
>Handheld N64
That was the DS retard
Not even close
>handheld N64
What the fuck is wrong with you?
>Tfw all the new Nintendo IP's that debuted on the GBA are deadnow
>throw dart
>90% chance you'll have a good soulful time
*3DS
>GBC
>better games
GBC is the one that barely had a chance to live, it was only on the market for 2 years or so before the GBA came out. The best GBC games, Pokemon GSC, were also playable on the original GameBoy (except Crystal). The only other noteworthy GBC exclusives were the Oracle games and Shantae, both of which released so close to the GBA that they included extra features if you played them on that instead of GBC. So even for its own exclusives, GBC was the inferior console.
I'm a 97 bab who grew up with a GBA and I can tell you you're full of shit. Arcade games like Metal Slug 3 and Battletoads had way better sprite art.
This is true, I wasn't counting arcades.
For soulful graphics, Playstation 1 and its not even a comparison.
For soulful music, PC-98.
>the only other noteworthy GBC exclusives besides Pokemon were the Oracle games and Shantae,
>What is Wario Land 3, Mega Man Xtreme 1-2, Bomberman Quest, Metal Gear: Ghost Babel, Mario Tennis, Mario Golf, Survival Kids, Dragon Warrior Monsters etc..
I'll tell you what those all are, inferior to their GBA counterparts.
If by soulful you mean boring, then yeah.
>GBC
Yeah no, there isn't a single game on the GBC or the GB that is better than AoS, it's straight up superior to it's predecessors in every aspect.
>handheld N64
For what reason?
All of these are still great games retard, and Wario Land 3 shits on 4.
It was the last purely 2D system and the one to benefit most from modern refinements, you have to appreciate that.
Did anyone here play the Crash games? They were pretty good, they felt a bit like a poor man's DKC.
My first console was a Genesis but I'm still going to go with PSX.
The DS has it beat, purely because of the sheer amount of games on it. I have a lot of nostalgia for the GB/GBC/GBA but the DS has more soulful games than all of them combined.
pretty sure you're replying to a bait post
That's not the 3DS
the sonic advance series was kino.
pokemon emerald and fr/lg were among the best pokemon games. also mystery dungeon.
mario and luigi superstar saga is one of the best rpgs of all time, and easily the best mario rpg game.
tons of ports of snes classics like yoshis island and super mario world, link to the past, donkey kong country, etc.
yeah, i'm thinking based
GBA was a shovelware console and most of the good games for it were SNES ports
>3DS
Try DS
