GC or UYA

I'd say Up Your Arsenal but I also enjoyed Deadlocked. Honestly though, Crack In Time is probably my favorite of the bunch.

The one I played as a kid.

First three, deadlocked was okay I guess but too different from the normal formula.
Forget anything after that though.

Nice to finally see an enlightened man. I enjoy the classics as well as ACiT.

>he only played one R&C game as a kid

Crack in Time

3 or 4

Why the hell would you only play one R&C game?

Most of them are fun. ToD was sort of meh though. Never played anything after Crack in Time if there was anything. At gunpoint I'd say I liked it most due to graphics and being comparable to GC in fun weapons.

Crack in time

It never did. Franchises like Crash, Spyro, and Star Fox peaked. Ratchet is still timeless.

BASED

Probably around Up your arsenal or Deadlocked if I'm being 100% honest.

That doesn't mean the future trilogy is bad, it's still really good. Just not as good as the end of the ps2 era games.

>watch a RaC video on YT
>feed then becomes RaC video essays and multi-part video analysis

Why does this cat cause so much autism?

It had two peaks. Going Commando and UYA and then like it or not in TOD. ACiT was a spike but because everything after that was either mediocre or dissapointing it never peaked again

UYA 100%. ACiT is also a really good game that just needed better weapons.

Its def underrated. Into the Nexus is really good too. Shame they ended the series when it couldve easily continued down that line.

ETERNALLY BASED. I tried to get my 8 year old nephew into RaC and fuck kids are ruined these days. RaC is probably the most instantly gratifying game ever short of maybe Crash Bandicoot.

I'm guessing your nephew only plays Fortnite and mobile games right user?

Its a hard pill to swallow, but Ratchet has had a better career than those other clowns.

Pretty much. He'll try classics with me for a minute and then complain because of graphics, controls, or difficulty. Kids don't even understand what soul means when it comes to games.

She's basically confirmed for the next game right? How will NuInsomniac handle Courtney Gears?

she shows too much metal for current year

>cat
australian rat

2 > 1 = 3 > Deadlocked

PS2

It's funny because they haven't changed her design.

Are these games good?
I downloaded the first game for a ps2 emulator, since I liked Insomniac's spyro games.
In the early levels it just seems like a very simple game with no reason to really think about anything or explore.
I dont know why i keep getting guns when I can just run up and smack stuff with my wrench.
The platforming is not as good as spyro either. Or jak or sly cooper for that matter.
Does it get better?

Yes. Stick with it.

I thought the first one started out good, but yeah it does get better.

For years Ratchet& Clank was this series a lot of late millenials/zoomers kids played, had great sales, great reviews but no one e-celeb was making videos about it, for many it was ''that mascot and robot thing of Playstation'', so nowadays a lot of aged up zoomers are compesanting by making detailed reviews of each game. That's my theory.

It does get better it just starts really slow. It starts to pick up after the 4th level or so you'll start seeing more gimmicks and minigames as you play and the enemies become harder so you have to use your weapons from a safe distance.
And the sequels improve the combat by a lot but they tone down the platforming and introduce more puzzles. If you're into 3rd person shooters you'll like em
