This game kinda sucks man. Just refunded it.

I played the first one quite a bit. I sort of like the atmosphere and "story" the tapes told about. The little arabian singing sample that kept looping also was great. This one seems to have lost some of the originals charme somehow.

I'm an autist and apparently I'm also paranoid as fuck but I'm in love with having to actually think about what I'm doing with my gun every time I think to use it in some way, even if it's just to holster it. I'm constantly walking around with either the safety on or the slide locked back because I'm paranoid a bullet will magic it's way into the chamber and shoot me in the leg.

I genuinely think the devs fumbled this one. I think it would have been better to dump the ranking system and implement it in some other way than booting you back out to another level, maybe just make it into a replayable game of some sort. Don't bump a player back a level on death, instead maybe make their gun selection worse and have that stack over time until they're left with a revolver with 6 bullets on starting

And then you try to take your gat 17 out of the holster and shoot yourself because you forget that austrians never heard the concept of a safety.
I had 3 of the 4 tapes needed to get to the fourth level I am so unbelievably mad

You can't rotate a double action revolver's cylinder while it's closed IRL.

Disappointed it's just randomly generated levels with permadeath like in the first game. Looks like a complete remake of the first game which isn't bad but I was hoping for something with linear progression and not endlessly dying over and over to start new runs.

It's more of a remake than a sequel. Or rather a more complete version of the proof of concept that was the original

Revolvers are excellent tools for teaching new shooters, and I carry a ruger LCR in .357 for my edc, but man that is pretty far from true.
