The 3 month shit is a meme that's why. It's WoW patches but spread out to justify the sub instead of splooging out in one go. ShB has been hurting content wise cause early 2019 did abysmally revenue wise for SE and Yoshida has been focusing on other non-XIV things. Game is legitimately being held up by Ishikawa and Soken alone and Soken even now is having to reuse old themes cause of the current Raids being reused concepts. Hell even Solus didn't get a custom theme. All Covid-19 is doing is making it more apparent how Shallow the game is.

It's not even worth trying to craft the expert recipes unless you're fully melded in facet gear. You can buy practice materials from certain vendors and a recipe in "Ishgard Restoration -> Others" to practice your rotation. It's not that bad and kind of relaxing once you get the rhythm going.

How is AST? I only played up to the end of the main mission in Strombringer. None of the patch missions.

XIV is a case where everything but the actual game is good and that shit doesn't work when you have to pay a monthly fee for it. Ishikawa and Soken deserve better than this.
