Achievement Hunter

What did they make worth watching?
Also fuck jannied, video game culture is allowed on this board.

I've shifted from turning a tv on as background/white noise to their videos, it does well enough

Getting spliffed and watching Uno the Movie was a good time, other than that I haven't enjoyed them since before High school, they stopped being good around 2013

Their Mini golf episodes are top.Same with most horror games. Gmod episodes are ok but are hit or miss depending on the supporting cast

>magnus opus tier
Uno The Movie
Ultra Minigolf 1 and 2

>high tier
Worms (with exceptions of the guest-shit that's just cringe)
Rainbow Six

>mid tier
Garry's Mod (some of it should be in high tier, but only some of it)
A lot of the early board game/trivia stuff before they started inviting others from Rooster Teeth

>good background filler tier
Minecraft - you can easily turn on the 500+ episode playlist and then just leave it running for days

>low tier
Pretty much everything else.

You forgot Ultimate Chicken Horse in High Tier

They were unable to follow up once Ray left. Kerry did a really good job filling the void and is genuinely the only hire after Ray I actually approve of.

>Early trivia stuff.

Everytime I watch those it becomes incredibly obvious that the majority of them never went to college

See and a bunch of Gavin and Michael videos. Octodad was at least mid tier.

>Be allergic to cats
>Wifey has cat
>Get cat hair injected straight into your blood
>Die

Somehow everyone except Ryan and Jack managed to improve their looks. Jack downgraded, and Ryan at least has the excuse of being nearly as old as Geoff with two kids.

Yeah but that's kinda the fun part. Watching Gavin, arguably the least intelligent of them IQ-wise, manage to scramble his way to victory in almost every word-guessing contest is hilarious.

i had no idea that slo-mo guys gavin is cheevo hunters gavin

I miss bruce

>Michael
Looks the same but older. He needs to stop trying to be an actor though. It's pathetic and a little sad.

>Ray
I heard somewhere that he went back to college and streams on the side, but who knows.

>Gaving
His face got a lot broader and so did his nose. Which is unfortunate because he's not downright ugly.

>Geoff
Geoff's decent into alcoholism was literally the best character arc. He actually fits the beard.

>Ryan
JUST

>Jack
Søy

AH is on its last leg, when Geoff eventually breaks down and kills himself they wont recover.

Yeah, Gavvy's talked about leaving a few times now. Michael knows he has nowhere to go which he's so desperate to get credited on as many movies as possible as to get a movie """career""" off the ground.

When Geoff starts snorting coke again it's pretty much all over.

Red and Blue was decent for like a season and I think some of their early minecraft lets play ideas were somewhat interesting, and a couple minigames inspired some builds of my own.

Overall this isn't a bad list. Anyone know what happened to Ray? I miss that brown bastard.

Twitch Streamer now.

I love how Jack went from white nationalist angry republican to complete onions with beard and mouth. That's quite the transition.

>>Ryan
>JUST
Raising two kids nearly full time while chugging booze, diet cokes, and tanking tazers'll do that to you. Meanwhile I have no idea what fucking logic let Jack think it was okay to let himself go at this point

Yeah but Ryan bordered on model-tier when he was young. He fell hard.

In his defense. Gavin has somewhere to go. He's a pretty entertaining guy and has proved on multiple occasions that he can make good content even without having other people to bounce off. The others though... they work because they work together. If they bleed too many members there won't be any recovery.

That being said I'm pretty sure all 6 (even Ray) of the Achievement Hunters own good stock in Rooster Teeth and the channel is far from in decline from a viewership standpoint. The quality's been falling since the early 2010s but they have a dedicated fanbase who will watch everything religiously now though.

Why do they keep making Lazer Team movies? Does anyone actually watch that shit?

Their viewership has been declining for a long time. In early 2010s pretty much every single AH and RT video would get a million views, now it's 1/10 if it gets 500k. Sure they have their own site, but that's a mirror to their yt site and have likely far less views as compared to before as well.
While they still have their dedicated fans if less and less new people get interested in them they'll eventually bleed out. What's keeping them on the ground are now the companies behind them and RWBY.

>Uno
>infinite draw
>stacking penalties
>7 - 0 rule
It was high-kino.

>mfw they confirmed an Uno 2 is planned

Fucking really? That may legitimately be the best news I've gotten in a while. I'm so fucking marathoning the first two Uno videos right now in celebration.

Thanks user. Unless you're lying, in which case fuck you for making me sad.

Yeah, during a live stream Geoff mentioned how since everyone was working from home it was the perfect time to do it.

I wonder if it will have the soul of the preview and the movie though. Here's hoping!
