I still remember when this was new and Yas Forums was in complete denial, calling it good and if not just as good as the original Deus Ex.
The game was really half baked shit with no worthwhile ideas other than trying to be more "cinematic" than the original and obviously console designed shit - so why did people pretend it was good for so long?
not a fan of based games are you. Shame, I had so much hope for the young'ns
Ian Ross
great visuals and music (though some 3D character models are kinda irky) the gameplay works very well, the story and sidequests never get boring, fun boss fights and "dialogue fights", has its neat optional things with consequences, it's easy to see why people liked it
it's nowhere near the original in terms of plot though, and the original's soundtrack is still way better, and I'd say the original's level design is still better, but saying that HR is a bad game is either one of the shittiest opinions in history, or simply bait
Dylan Richardson
HR isn't a bad game when your standards are low, sure.
HR has as many problems as IW, and is way worse actually in certain aspects, but back when DEIW was released, people had standards. HR came after a LOT of dumbing down, like you obviously have suffered from.
Aiden King
>comparing HR to IW the worst part about threads like this is that I can never figure out wether you're pretending to be retarded or if you're actually retarded
Michael Wright
>>comparing HR to IW >NOOOO YOU JUST CAN'T COMPARE BAD SEQUELS
Blake Morris
>original's level design
The original's level design was dogshit. Just empty hallways and spaces everywhere with 5 million grunts patrolling.
Ethan Nguyen
Deus Ex: Human Revolution is a masterpiece. Keep seething, boomer.
Xavier Campbell
by comparing I mean "trying to bundle them up together as being very similar" anyways, fuck off, retard
ok, nevermind, THIS guy's opinion is even worse than the OP's
Xavier Wood
fun fact: only authoritarians and pedophiles hate deus ex
