youtube.com/watch?v=K2KcpAz7bRM Kuja should have been the final boss. Give him an extra form or another boss fight and it would have been perfect. His trace theme is so fucking kino.
Necron not bad at all. In fact, if you know your lore, he's great. Kuja's the one who was really underwhelming throughout except for the exchange where it's implied he's contemplating raping Garnet

RNG boss fights are not fun and I know final boss outta no where is classic FF but its not good. Necron was shit.
Caleb Murphy
>RNG boss fights I can't really dispute you on this because I'm always so ridiculously overpowered by the time I get to him, I have no recollection of what his fight is actually like at all.
Jack Wood
IX is not a good game.
Camden Phillips
Whats your favorite FF game then user
Adam Hernandez
t. man who likes FF 8/13
Carson Parker
it's been ages since i played the game. but like that another user i was also way too overpowered
I mean you're entirely wrong but I respect your opinion.
Eli Rogers
8 would have been a better game if it didnt have the worst magic system in the series.
Chase Myers
I can't stand JRPGs that take forever to load in and out of random encounters.
It's why I appreciated playing SMT Nocturne. It's not my favorite JRPG, but I love how fast paced the battles are and how they didn't waste your time with stupid overly long intros and outros for every fucking random encounter.

>Great-tier I VI VII X >Good-tier III IV V IX XII >Bad-tier II VIII XV >Why does this even exist-tier XIII XIII-2 LR VIIR
I'm playing it right now on the switch and it has a lot of charm and is beautiful but holy hell I hate the combat, was it really that hard to remove the camera moving every battle?
Ayden Sullivan
Sensible taste, I'd switch a few around but you're a reasonable user, user.
If it makes you feel better; if I was ranking them by soundtrack it would be in great.
Jace Perez
>play jrpg >invisible random encounters every few steps >30 second transition/loading screen from exploration to battle screen >wait for atb bars to slowly fill for every single character >wait for slow animations to play out >incredibly easy encounter still takes minutes to resolve >10 second transition/loading screen from victory screen back to exploration
>play wrpg >see enemy >can choose what to do, avoid or engage, prepare, set traps, etc. >if choosing to engage, instantaneous and seamless transition from exploration to tactical turn-based combat >you can select all party members and order them to attack with just a single mouse click >combat never drags on
why are jrpgs so shit?
Charles Taylor
Is this supposed to be saying that FFII is a good game? fuck your bait
