I suspect that might be a third act twist or something. There's enemies of multiple species, but I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out that the 'main' bad guys, probably human supremacists, are former XCOM.

Just look at the artwork and the human squad members. It's obvious they want the onions audience.

This Borderlands RTS seems cool.

Mechanically it looks like it could be interesting, but I wish they had not chosen to sell this as woke squad.

Breach mode looks like an interesting way to spice up insertions and give the player more agency in how they start a mission.

Maybe the turn order will spice up the gameplay a little bit. I'm kinda tired with the same old "discover an alien pod then OTK" anyway.
