Why would you play a game more than once? You already experienced over 90% of what it has to offer, the remaining 10% are probably not worth it compared to experiencing over 90% of another games content.
Why would you play a game more than once? You already experienced over 90% of what it has to offer...
Why do you keep posting this shit thread
Sneedbrap
sometimes they're just that good. why does anybody reread books; rewatch movies for that matter? seriously, wtf is this question.
>he never played good game
sad existance, zoomer
It's fun and I want to do it again. I don't need to constantly be having new experiences.
can you seriously not find another game that's good?
I don't, and I dont really do any of either, I just feel like its usually better to try something new, I have games in my top 10 I've only played once
There are some game I've beaten once and plan to keep that way, regardless of how much I enjoyed them but there are also games that are only more enjoyable on replayability. I would argue playing through DMC5 or Bayonetta only once isn't even really playing through it
As an artist, my philosophy is that you should always strive to make something worth coming back to. There's a lot of stuff that you can experience once and then be done with it, but only truly exceptional things make you say "I want to play/watch/look at/read/listen to this again"
Why would you even think in those terms? I replay a game if I want to experience it again, same as anything else in any other medium. And with video games, maybe there are achievements or alternate endings or characters or playstyles you could try to get or compare. Instead of micro-analyzing disparate games based on some arbitrary guess about "90%" or "10%" of what's in them, I finish when I decide I'm finished based on achievements and/or my personal enjoyment or artistic enrichment.
you can try, but that's where the thing about replaying comes in-- nothing else is that good
The same reason why you would make the same shit thread more than once. Think about it, you already did this thread before why did you want to do it again?
Yes, I do it fairly regularly. That doesn't mean I can't replay something that I've previously enjoyed.
Stop playing western AAA shit.
name 3 games that are better than all the other games out there
no multiplayer allowed
Ocarina Of Time
Silent Hill
Resident Evil 4
first 2 are shit and RE4 is less fun the more you know about it
A very good portion of enjoyment coming out of vidya is exploration and discovery, especially if the game has a story. You can't explore the same level twice, once you know it it becomes treading old ground
>you are examples are shit
every time
>first 2 are shit
Okay, contrarian zoomer hipster
Metal Gear Rising is fun after not playing it for a yr
>things are only good the first time around
Gothic 1 and 2
NOX
>first two are shit
It's almost as if people are different and like different things.
Here's a redpill for you, kiddo. Just because you don't like something, doesn't mean it's objectively shit and no one in the world should like it. You'll realize this once you step out of high school.
That depends on the game. Some games are designed with replayability in mind. I will replay games like bayonetta and ninja gaiden on different difficulty levels, because these games change quite a bit on higher difficulties. Then I'm going to come back to them later to replay them again because games with gameplay that good come out rarely.
I'm not playing the vast majority of games coming out because I don't have any interest in them.
Incredibly based
Why would you eat the same food more than once
If It was feasible I would eat a new meal every day, it's why people seek out new recipes and don't just eat the same 3 dishes on rotation
Why would you jack off more than once? You already experienced over 90% of what it has to offer, the remaining 10% are probably not worth it compared to experiencing over 90% of another coomer content.
There really aren't that many good games. The same goes for anything in life, the world is pretty boring and predictable full of disappointments. By the time you're 30 you've figured out most of it and you can just do the same things over and over.
This is why you look for new porn each time
you seriously telling me there's not enough good games for you? must have a pretty limited taste
Because I play other games and then I'm reminded of how good a game I played previously was, so I go back to replay it because it's a good fucking game. Or I watch someone else play a game I've played before and then I get the urge to go back and play it because once again, that game is just THAT fucking good.
For me the reason is that time passes, I don't remember the game very well and want to experience it again. Sometimes it's old favorites, sometimes it's games I know are well regarded but I didn't appreciate much. For the latter reason I'm going to replay Chrono Trigger soon.
