What's your Dad's favorite vidya?
What's your Dad's favorite vidya?
whats yours
My dad would rather watch Boxing than llaying video games. That said though, he often plays Tetris on his phone
Gmod. Not my Dad though. He liked Tanks from Wii Play.
Test drive off road for the PlayStation.
The newest Hitman games.
He has played nothing else by Hitman since Hitman 2016 released until he switch to Hitman 2.
My dad thinks video games are a massive waste of time and I’ve been a disappointment to him ever since I started playing them.
he used to play the shit out of kirby's avalanche, never touched a single game outside of that
i considered showing him puyo-puyo but i don't think that interaction would go as well as i would hope
i know he like bejeweled and mahjong from windows 98/me when i was a kid, i don't think he play any game now
My mother loves Bejeweled since I was young. My dad left with his other wife.
My dad thinks video games are a tool used by the Japanese to brainwash the youth of America to become violent sociopaths that will destroy the country for them. He's right about the youth destroying America thing but he's got Japan mixed up with China and video games mixed up with communism.
But before he went off the deep end, we used to play Mario Party a lot. He'd always played as Wario.
Ratchet & Clank 1. What I mean by that is, it's the last vidya we played and beat together before he transformed into a "those vidja games are a waste of time" kinda guy. Miss those days.
World of tanks
Soul reaver
Man hunt
Battlefield
Gta vice city
Mount and blade warband
My dad doesn't play games, so klondike solitaire I guess
My mom likes puzzle games and this one breakout clone she's been playing for literally like 20 years though
>Doom
kino dude
He's dead.
As far as I know, this was his first C&C game. It was the one that got me into the series, so basically I have my Dad to thank for that.
Return to Castle Wolfenstein mostly.
He played mario kart 64 with me occasionally but outside of that he just argues with people and on Twitter.
My dad would always kick my ass in Street Fighter, maybe that's where my fantasies of dominating Chun-Li came from
My lad's favorite is CS:GO but my dad's favorite is Oddworld
Fifa and Gran Turismo, he bought a PS4 just for those.
It's like that one episode of Black Mirror
No idea, but he got so addicted to Dawn of War that he had to uninstall it.
my dad is completely addicted to tetris so we have that in common
I think that his favorite game is Timeshift for PS3, at least he's praised it pretty much and he's played through it at least three times.
Spore. He loves making weird creatures.
FF7
I haven't seen my dad in more than 20 years, but I do have faint memories of him playing.. either Silent Hill or RE, forgot which.
I'll be better if I tell you my mom's: Majora's Mask (loves OoT as well but always parrots about how MM is immensely superior), the entire Harvest Moon franchise, and one of the Ace Attorney games, forgot which. She binge played them all two years ago, including Investigations 2.
Need for Speed High Stakes on PC I think.
he bought 5k PC just to play Racing games on 4k
Dad and I used to play Return to castle Wolfenstein mp together. He loved saying the German lines in an exaggerated way. Good times. He was also a big fan of Quake 2 on the MSN Gaming Zone with me.
He's not able to do fast games anymore though. Good memories.
This hardcore shit.
i dont know
Probably quake II or Doom III. He replayed the former probably a good 20+ times, maybe more including the mission packs.
I hate my father and haven't spoken to him in 11 years LOL.
How is everyone's dad here so young? My dad wasn't into videogames at all because he was born in the early 60s.
Warcraft 2 on the PS1, He plays it all the time. No amount of attempts to show him other rts games has ever worked
He used to play lots of Dyna Blaster (Bomberman's DOS versio) multiplayer with me and my siblings. He also later bought few racing games for himself when we had PS2 but didn't ultimately play them that much.
Got him into destiny and we used to play that a lot together
He has been checking on Cookie Clicker for 3 years now.
Historical Total War
Gran turismo 4
Nuclear dawn
galaga, altough he pronounces it "gal lar gar" cause hes australian
Microsoft Flight Simulator
he played Doom and C&C mostly. various other PC games
MLB The Show, he buys it every year. I don’t think plays any other video game.
My dad plays civ 5
actually has good taste
Light gun games mostly, and occasionally the motorcycle game where the cabinet has a frame for you to lean on. Basically whatever they’d have at Chuck E. Cheese that wasn’t ticket machines
Random personal story from when I was supposedly a baby:
>grandma trying to work the ticket redeemer
>Chuck E. himself comes over to help her out
>gee thanks a lot, do you work here?
i'd always beat my dad in sf
it's metroid, that's also pretty much the only game he's played
>Are you playing that faggot game? You only plat game for children
>Why is you character dressed like a woman and fishing? Do you see that normal?
he also enters my room to play with my dogs because they’re always near me
Super Mario World. he loves that one
I used to watch him play wolfenstein and doom as a kid. I think he'd say doom was his favorite but I've never asked
This literally happened the same to me. Hell even if played Ratchet and Clank 1 what the fuck?
My dad never played video games and never liked that I played video games instead of being a sporty alpha chad like he was when he was my age.
I am a disappointment to my father.
Dad loves CART: Flag to Flag on Dreamcast, Halo 2 and Burnout 3 on Xbox. Also loves flight simulator 2004.
final fanasy 9 and down he never liked when the went 3rd person and voices
he also loves CRPGs, i think hes replaying Pool of Radiance: Ruins of Myth Drannor right now
