Sephiroth compelling Cloud to kill Aerith, and then finishing the job himself when Cloud resists only made sense in the context that Aerith is the only one that can do something about Sephiroth's plan as she can summon Holy. He has to kill her and get her out of his way. Why the fuck would he kill Tifa --or anyone else-- instead?

I hate the fucking stun attacks enemies have. That shit is inexcusable in a real time combat game, and it's not even a status effect so you can't defend against it. And then there are enemies that just throw up forcefields when you break them so you can't hit them.
