shit game that some how keeps getting worse

if the next update is bad, im gonna nuke my alliance/clan + discord

buy plat

Apart from archguns & dual handed katana, I experienced all weapon types.
I'll explore the new Corpus tileset, do some stealth in it & if I can't get anything interesting out of it, time to uninstall( after MANY years of playing).

>do nothing for several years
>put in Liches and Railjack in buggy, barely proof of concept states
>take a month vacation
>they come back and wonder how their game has died

I don't know how anybody could continue supporting them after that

ahhh the good old days of void keys. I had so much fun fucking around doing those.

The game is good, the gameplay is great and all but there's so much to do that you just don't know what to do and every new update or feature is always hyped by the devs but as soon as you try it it feels so watered down and rushed that you just like do it for a week and get very tired of it (Fortuna for example). There's also no endgame stuff like raids or something interesting to do and make up for the increasing grind, at the end of the day all you end up doing in warframe is grind the same missions, the same content, the same frame because dumb meta, the game just becomes a borefest after you reach MR15 and know how to do everything

I quit a couple months ago, just in time really

There was literally never any moment this game resembled something worth playing but its current state makes its previous iterations look like masterpieces

Personally haven't played since Fortuna.
It was a fine update, and I had friend(s) to play with, but my interest in that grind dwindled. I was at MR 22, had every frame and prime possible, was slowly building every weapon/zaw and for what? Big epeen points? A higher number than someone else?

Always online games are a trap.
Do something better with your time. Finish a singleplayer story, read a book, spend time outside. Fuck timesinks.

i miss old warbros

>Always online games are a trap.
This.
Any game that tries to maintain it's player count by having transient content you have to play at a certain time or else miss out, isn't worth playing.

Fucked beyond repair, what a shame

Its a great game until you hit the end game, then there isn't anything to do.

I have everything I need but I still play cause I like smacking giant lizards.

It's a time sink with no actual endgame. All the content is hidden away on little islands that don't connect to the rest of the game in any meaningful way.

Kuva lich were buggy as fuck on release and are still a grindy RNG filled mess. Plus the systems they showed/promised never made it into the game.

Railjack was a giant buggy mess for over a month because DE decided to release a major update before fucking off for Christmas vactation. Railjack has one mission type and Four different enemies.

Scarlet spear was a horrible mess that literally didn't have matchmaking for the space portion of the event on launch. It was so broken and buggy they didn't release the trailer for the Event until a few days ago and it's already filled with comments about how grindy it is.

MR5 players can get the latest meta weapon in the game by dumb luck.

The only good thing about warframe is the in game community. Most players are either silent or generally helpful with a few assholes here and there. Typical players are shit at the game but you can carry becasue of how braindead the combat is. The official forums are 100% cancer though.

I think the game's playercount has been boosted over the past month because of the pandemic. When the pandemic ends, the people who are currently playing will quit due to burnout & the game will be in even bigger trouble

oh fuck i thought i was in a monster hunter thread. warframe grind is pointless with no challenge.

It's almost halfway through 2020 and what do we have so far?

A fucking garbage event that is going away in a few days. Amazing. And Railjack is still absolute trash.

Steve is a fucking clown and is running the company into the ground with his retardation.

Agreed.
Sometimes feel this way about online multiplayer games as well. I feel little reward in playing pvp shit day in and day out. I'm don't wanna go pro. I don't care about stats. It's not enjoyable playing with tryhard sweaty fucks, nor with teammates or friends that rage.

t. dude who just turned off their system when friend started with the "fuck that faggoty cocksucking fucking faggy fuck" during apex
nah man. later.

That sounds like much of what warframe was even before I stopped playing..
The community is what brought me in, and kept me playing, but once you hit a certain point when you're shitting out every possible build for every frame and weapon you could ever want, there's not much left to do?

No idea what scarlet spear is, though..
If it's anything like the nightwave shit, I'm not interested. Battlepasses are cancer whether it's 100% free or $100 a "season."
I want to enjoy content when I have time for it, not when you tell me to play.

>do public mission
>everybody zooms to the end like The Flash
>kills boss
>rinse and repeat ad nauseam
you need frens to enjoy this

Attached: tearydunce.png (658x662, 44.15K)

You really do need friends to enjoy it.
The only reason I played so long is because I found a small clan of less than 10 dudes I became pretty close with.
Didn't last, but it made the grind more enjoyable for sure.

>play with friends
>everybody zooms to the end like The Flash
>kills boss
>rinse and repeat ad nauseam

Its an alone together mission thing where you have two types of missions to do. Its the drizzle before the storm for the new war.

the design of the frames is so weird i never got into the game (plus i dont like grind)

......that's the point. The games is just not for you dude.

They also "reworked" enemy armor and status effects. Viral/slash is now the new meta because it kills level 160+ shit nearly instantly. With armor being linear even lvl 9999 enemies aren't an actual threat to a player with a decent build.

Sentients in the new event are just big damage sponges that everyone just crowd controls anyway. Meanwhile the new event uses a railjack but it's only to ferry an item from point A to point B meaning all the equipment/abilities you farmed for it are completely useless in the content.

Pic related is a railjack ability that actually made it through testing and into a game. Have fun with your 18% speed boost while not being able to see literally anything besides fire.

Uninstall lol xd

>It's a time sink with no actual endgame.
When you register for the game and start it up, you are in the endgame. The game's always been like this. Back in the day most guns even had normalized DPS so everything was fine. But If playing the game itself is not fun for and you need arbitrary bars to fill to feel happy or achieved, then I'm sorry, but that's not a healthy way to play videogames. You're not supposed to log into a videogame every day for hours, doing meaningless things just to get that dopamine from filling some meaningless bar or checking off achievements. If you play WoW and don't like the first 60 levels, then you're not going to like the endgame either and you're having a bad time if your only drive in a video is "getting to the endgame". Play a game for the things that are fun to you. If you like shooting people in counter strike, then do that without grinding your rank, xp or skins being the only reason to play it.

Making numbers go up feels really good

Viral? Oh boy, that would've been nice if they hadn't fucked Saryn into oblivion time and time again..

Forgot about how DE continually fucked up frames with little thought.
>Wants to stop people from using Ember to nuke low level maps and naruto run through them
>Nerfs the fuck out of her
>Ruins her crowd control build in the process while leaving the ability to nuke low level maps relatively untouched

Sorry for the rant. I'd actually forgotten about how they kept fucking shit up until you reminded me that Saryn used to be viral based.

The rest of your post sounds pretty shit, user.
They sure love their damage sponges.

WoW actually has PVP as an outlet for your neat shiny gear you get.

Raids in warframe filled them same roll before they removed them.

Dark sectors were a great way to compete against other players for control over special resources.

They removed those too.

Eidolons were a great way to make platinum and they killed that too.

My problem is with DE making stupid decisions not the game itself.

LeYou is going to shut down Warframe in about a year. The newest financials are out and WF's earnings completely plummeted.

China only cares about profits and DE is not pulling in the money.

I'm becoming increasingly annoyed by the grind. There's so much placed in the way from getting what I want; sub-1% drops, garbage rewards in the reward pools, DE tuning the game for a full team of no-lifers who have every mod, etc... it's all so tiresome. It used to be a fun way to kill some time and run though things however you pleased, but with the way DE does things now you're forced to min/max exclusively if you don't want that time wasted.

Maybe they'll get off they're asses and make a new fucking game, instead of breaking the old one over and over again.

Already failed.

>you're forced to min/max exclusively if you don't want that time wasted
Well put.

>even DE is stuck on the endless grind of Warframe

Serves them right

What happened to eidolons?

You can get a max rank legendary mod in about two hours from the new event. It lasts a month so prices are never going to recover.

You can still do them for fun but you're not going to make any plat.

I so vaguely have a memory of this. I think they announced it at an E3 or tennocon when I'd just started playing?
I didn't even know it was a functioning game.
Looks like a Paladins ripoff, which is saying something..

What the fuck was this? I was actively playing the Warframe around then, I never heard anything about this.

It's pretty much the Western version of Granblue Fantasy, grind grind grind for bigger pixel numbers and when you're "done" farming the realisation kicks in that there's barely any interesting content to do after playing through the game engine thousands of times.

When last I was playing maybe a year or two ago, I remember being excited to get my eidolon slaying build finally together so I could start making some plat and buy all the pretty things I wanted.
So everything's fucked now?
