Shit I forgot about the old GTAs being legitimately hard
Shit I forgot about the old GTAs being legitimately hard
i need to replay this game
Once you get rich enough to buy body armor whenever it's no big deal and SA has the horse race betting you can get rich off early on
Nobody even beat the ps2 GTAs. Everyone just typed in cheats and fucked around in the overworld
jetpack master race reporting in
what was your favorite shit to do ingame bros
line was robbing house, was comfy as fuck
Not OP but I'm giving this game an honest run now and I learned that the ALL YOU HAD TO DO WAS FOLLOW THE DAMN TRAIN CJ mission really was fucking hard
I cheated in the overworld to get faster cars and shit but I beat all the missions legit. Incredibly hard game
There's nothing better than rolling up on criminals with your homies in vigilante missions
tedious =/= difficulty
I had no problems with sa but gta iii was unfun garbage that only contrarian fart sniffers still praise
Pretending to be a cop
The only hard part in san andreas is the barrel roll in the driving school in the pc version
I always cheated on the ps2, but when it got ported to the 360, I beat it without cheats for the achievement. Game has some really casual filters sprinkled throughout the game.
FUCK THE RADIO CONTROLLED PLANE MISSION
Whenever I died I'd load my previous save. It actually took less time than going back and buying all my guns again.
It wasn't that hard it just seems harder because you have to replay the whole mission if you fail.
I remember my dad getting mad from dying and reloading his save all the time. CJ would be screaming and then you just hear that squish sound and "WASTED" pops up and the camera sways into the quiet sky, my dad makes an angry grunt I laugh my ass off. Literally some of the best times of my life were spent with this game
San Andreas wasn't hard, though, you zoomer.
This was one of the only hard parts in the game, and it wasn't actually hard. It was a pain in the ass because the AI was so unimaginably retarded that completing it came down to luck rather than skill. The only other part in the game that was "hard" was the RC helicopter. Again, these parts weren't actually hard. In that case though, the difficulty was solely because the controls were nothing short of atrocious.
San Andreas is a great game, don't get me wrong. But if you even suggest that it's a hard game, you are so irredeemably stupid that you should end your suffering with a rope ASAP.
The only hard missions were the school ones.
t. SAfag
Real shit.played a shit load of vice city and San Andreas. I never seen the credits on a GTA game until IV.
I literally just beat vice city a month ago with no cheats.
Shut the fuck up
>fat cj
based
this webm made me kek
I recently started replaying the ps2 version and it's so fucked because of the fuel consumption glitch.
On my own:
>Going from one island to another
The countryside is the best part of it. I always claim LV was my favorite city, but I realized I just liked to spend most of my time going there and through the desert on a horse with no name
>pretend to be a cop
That one's a given, I actually got to the 50 or 100 police mission for the cop uniform. No cheats.
>Tuning cars
Just stealing random cars and making them look GOOD
>Being autist
I was that guy that got every graffiti, every photo, every horseshoe and every oyster just to see what happens
With friends:
>Going to the military base
Cheatless, causing mayhem, trying to kill the most soldiers, steal a hydra and wonder why the fuck did the tanks not shoot
>UZUMYMW through everything lol
Just that
>How long can you ride the bike?
We would get an FCR900, stacking that cheat that sped up time and take turns going through the one highway. We would make bets on who lasted longer before hiting a car or something. That was something different, but kinda fun
fucking this
getting all gold in driving school was so much harder than flying school because of how random it was
>random
wacha mean?
To get a gold medal for the barrel roll in driving school, you need to drive off a ramp with two wheels so you do the barrel roll, fly over a row of cars, and land your car facing the exact correct angle without damaging your car even slightly. Getting your car to actually do the roll is hard enough, but getting it to roll just the right amount and not alter the angle your car is facing is extremely hard and doesn't seem consistent at all.
The fps limiter option makes the bbarrel rolling weird in the pc version, don't remember if it was with it on or off
III and VC were hard because the shooting controls were so horrible on a controller
SA was much easier since it has mostly modern shooting controls
Artificial difficulty caused by shitty controls and shitty game mechanics, sure.
remote control helicopter mission on GTA vice city is the only "hard mission" I've ever played at a GTA game and it was only hard because the controls were retarded on PC, GTA was never hard
Im playing it on android and you are retarded. How fucking hard it is to see that big smoke hits the train instead of people and move to the right so he can get better angle. I barely made it to the tunnel
>it was only hard because the controls were retarded on PC
has no one ever heard of remapping their keys?
I'd like to use the high jump cheat and put on a motorcycle helmet and heat goggles and shoot the guided missile launcher and pretend to be The Predator.
>playing on android
>calling others retard
based retard
>it came down to luck rather than skill
You are the reason games are dumbed down so much that retards can beat it
I beat ot on every console and PC except for android. So I'm doing it now
