The US loves the Xbox brand. Even in this gen, where Microsoft fucked up everything they could, the Xbone still sold really well there, despite doing awfully in the rest of the world.

Better question is why did they even bother with Xbox when the majority of PC owners run Windows and is the OS of choice to run AND create games? Are they blind to the absolute superiority of their own medium? Are they not aware of their own potential and that their competitors desperately try to hinder any title's release for the PC due to the capabilities and improvements the platform can do for the title?

I'd buy one for the design honestly, especially since it looks portable enough to take anywhere and since Xbox has that "Xbox play anywhere" thing.
But then I found out NZXT essentially made their own PC case just like it with a custom watercooling block for the CPU and custom power supply for a stupid amount of money and being limited only to Micro boards.
