You can install updates on yuzu.
In fact the 1.0.0 version of New Horizon doesn't even boot in yuzu, you have to update it.

The Switch itself has 4GB of RAM, so you need at least that to run a Switch emulator and then also your OS.

well yuzu only uses 2 cores and renders at native resolution, so all you'd need an overclocked i3 and 750ti/1030.
