because some companies can't be assed to write around a "really really good idea" they came up with that takes up the entire premise. all they had to do was say he got sacked or debriefed or some shit and pushed to the side. hell they even came up with idea for what happened with joker for the third game, albeit completely redesigning him.

Crysis 1 sold incredibly well, and the creators were often bragging about the lamborghinis they bought after the success.

You should have seen WoW. Those shitty, objectively trash novels, were massively important to the story of each expansion. The last exception was the Arthas book and that's only because the book was an offensively bad retcon to a beloved character and was, hilariously, contradicted and ignored in both quests and in-expansion dialogue.

I think you mean Far Cry.

Because if you're trying to create a relatively large universe, detailed it's not feasible for every expanding story beat to happen in games. Either the story evolves at a snails pace through games or you have to shit out tons of low quality asset flips to get all the story you want done inside of games.

Not that guy but crysis 1 and the expansion had some really great parts.
Something about picking a nork soldier and throwing him at a building to make a hole in it to get to the soldiers inside was unseen at that time.

Looks like it's going to be multiplatform.
