By overloading with the cringe. You should have seen what the director said about the game, he had no fucking idea why it was popular over here and thought we wanted more autistic lolis and love interests.

The localization didn't give a fuck about the setting and the developers kept rolling with the bad art style from 3. You might like it but it's a kick in the face if you liked the vague semblance of maturity in the first game.

It's like you're talking about the JRPG sequel but projecting your arguments on 4. In no way is 4 more cringe or anime than 1. It doesn't have more love interests, it has the 1 love interest just like the first game. Doesn't have a lot of autistic lolis, it has two adult females with small titties if that's who you're referring to. The 1 actual loli isn't autistic, the loli in the original game is clearly more autistic.

VC4 gameplay was great but story kinda pissed me off. I really don't like Federation.

It is objectively more cringe and the girls are objectively developed with waifufaggotry in mind. From their appearance to their actions to the DLC. And it does have a lot of autistic lolis, it should have 0.

It's pretty good. Not as good as 1.
Neither the main cast nor side characters are as endearing and the missions aren't as fun or free form. Some of them are virtually impossible to clear unless you do the A-rank way.

I enjoyed the first game but didn't finish it. I hit a wall shortly after the fight with the giant blue shield bitch. Stuff kept one shotting me and everything took 10 hits to kill. I was probably forgetting to do something at R&D but I just didn't care and dropped it.

That's what I mean though. Playing methodically doesn't reward you. In fact, it usually punishes you.

That mission with her on the gate or whatever shooting down on you? It seems absolutely impossible with the difficulty mod on PC.

Fun story when I was playing VC1, for half of the game i was hiding tank as far from enemy as I could. I was doing that because at the begining enemy had 1 hited my tank a few times. Later I learn that was only because they hitted radiator. Still for the half of the game I was not using tank.

VC4 was easily the second worst game in the series; isn't the worst because 2 exists.
I'm glad it failed; shame about the series dying but it was Sega's own damn fault.
