Maybe after the new movie

Nobody cared after the sequels. I certainly didn't.

Matrix 1 is the only good movie in the trilogy, the sequels were a pure waste of mone

God I hope not

aren't they releasing a new one in 2021? I guess that oughta do the trick...
Are people still making movie-based games tho? Besides the obvious "star wars"?

2 was good, 3 was shit

>A new movie
What the fuck?

Neo is now black

I mean, I guess it's smart to cash in Reeves's new found popularity and get him to play Matrix again.

This time not as a shitty actor..

They are making a second one?

DMC5

Nigga u just know it's gonna be shit.

Yes. It's already out and it's called the Matrix: Reloaded.

Enter the Matrix and Path of Neo are so fun bros, especially on PC

Dock scene was cool

I like The Path of Neo, didn't think much of Enter the Matrix though.

Of course it's going to be shit. The Matrix was a fucking fluke in fact. Look at the brothers' complete filmography, and you will be delighted with trash like Jupiter Ascending and Cloud Atlas.

2 and 3 were filmed at the same time and are actually one movie, they just cut it right in the middle. When you watch them as one 5 hour long movie, it's good throughout.

reloaded and revolutions are unironically great movies

Bros can you find me music like this for me to nostalgia over?

The fuck?
2 was terrible. The retarded fight scenes alone ruin it. 3 was even more terrible.

great games and mechanics at the time

>The retarded fight scenes alone ruin it
The cgi was bad but otherwise it was entertaining.

The Matrix is literally all I have left from my childhood that hasn't been raped yet. Star Wars? Gone. Lion King? Gone. Justice League? Gone. Tomb Raider? Gone. This week I saw FF7 get called the bad ending by its remake, so that's gone too. Matrix is all I have left. Please let them cancel the project altogether, I can't handle more of this.

the motorway chase sequence was pure action kino

The fight scenes were the only good thing about the second movie.

I disagree. The characters are mostly flat, there are tons of pointless detours, a great deal of what happens in inconsequential, the fights and special effects look like dogshit, etc.

Matrix was already shit on with terrible sequels, and a shitty MMO which is canon by the way.

The agent Smith fight scene may go down in history as the worst fight scene of all time

Reloaded was good too, up to this day it still has one of the best fighting choreography ever done and some very interesting philosophies and themes. Revolutions was garbage and killed the franchise, now, as always, they are reanimating it's corpse to make some obscene gestures at us.

?
The sequels raped it. Is this the part where people try to pretend the sequels were even palpable?

>he doesn't know
Keanu's not gonna be starring there

And the chateau fight and highway chase are exceptional.

Matrix 4 is filming so consider yourself raped

Yeah cant wait for a game based off that tranny infested shitshow their gonna make, even the second and third movie started showing signs of the directors insanity

What?
The fighting choreography is mostly terrible. Half the people in it can barely fight and the fights are laden with CG/wire flying.

> and some very interesting philosophies and themes.
No, it was pretentious garbage, just like the third movie.

>mfw only watched the first matrix movie

Say all you want about 3 but it had some of the best scenes in the entire series

Don't look at the release date of the movie

The Chateau fight was decent, but the fight on the tanker truck was fucking terrible.

>and the fights are laden with CG/wire flying.
Did you not pay attention to the first movie? The entire series relies on wire rigs for the fight scenes.

The entire Highway chase sequence, which includes more than just the fight on the truck, was excellent. And that fight was good too, what's your problem with it?

What's wrong with the date?

Its actually having some financial problems because of corona causing filming shutdown so there may be some hope for him

>brothers'
huh?

The fuck you mean? They have even shown him in character.
You mean he isn't the protag? I can take that.

The second isn't too bad and is worth a watch. The third is trash.

Here's hoping those "trannies" get covid 19 and die before it's finished.

>Half the people in it can barely fight and the fights are laden with CG/wire flying.
There's a BIG difference between choreography and the actual way by which it's performed. Choreography is akin to a music sheet, which tells what goes where when. The performance includes things like camera angles, which are still good, and of course special effects, which were very good for the time. But even the first movie was full of special effects, in fact the 2 first movies helped revolutionize special effects in movies.
Exploring fatality and causality isn't "pretentious" you fucking brainlet.

Revolutions > The Matrix > Reloaded

Enter the Matrix > Path of Neo

this is your brain on comsooming

>Exploring fatality and causality isn't "pretentious"
The way they did it certainly was. Script came off like it was written by a teenager.

Enter the Matrix was the worst I've ever been bamboozled by a game in my entire life, and that was a time when I barely had any money so it really hurt. Fuck that game and fuck anything related to the Matrix after the first movie.

Still have yet to watch the third movie. Don't even remember what I hated about 2, but it was so bad for 2000s me that I just didn't give a fuck how it ended.

Have an ancient image I pulled off my photobucket account a few months back.

>game was literally unfinished
>anons on Yas Forums of all places will defend the game saying it's not THAT buggy
This is the industry you deserve contrarian filth

>The way they did it certainly was
Do you actually have an argument or are you just gonna endlessly spout empty words?

made me laff

The first one is the best yeah, and also didn't even require any sequels to it, but there's nothing wrong without 2 and 3 either.

Constantine>Enter the Matrix>Path of Neo

I just want to dab on people in slow motion.

Try greentexting the rest of the post chief. Amateur writing and dialogue throughout the entire fucking movie. Just featuring a topic does not mean they get brownie points if they explore it with all the subtlety of a freshman psych paper.

on the surface 2/3 are bad, but they have just as much interesting shit under the surface as 1. they have a certain mid 2000s charm that is easier to appreciate now with a layer of nostalgia. I think the majority misunderstood them and purely viewed them as shallow action movies since the deeper mystery and symbolism doesn't hit you over the head as it does in the original.
