Been playing this game since late 2018, and I just can't do it anymore. I want to main captain falcon but the margin for error is just too slim. I secondary Roy but he's a bit boring honestly. I know how to tech. I can read moderately well. I know some of the frame data. I know the matchups. I cannot for the life of me do well consistently. GSP is stuck at 3mil, but it doesn't even matter when people sub 1mil seem to be pros in comparison to me. Even practicing the combos for sometimes hours, figuring out what moves are best for what situation, none of it matters. I get bodied by almost every character, every player, and this game simply serves as a reminder that even though I spend all my time playing video games, I'm not and will never be good at them.
I'm done. Fuck smash. Fuck Nintendo. Fuck captain falcon. Someone roll dubs so I can snap the game card. Trips and I smash my switch
Smash isn't balanced. Why not play an actually balanced game?

>done playing a glorified Mario Party minigame Why did you feel the need to announce this?

You're right, and I honestly don't know. I think it's time to recluse myself to single player games.
Because I felt like it

>he sucks at Captain Falcon Just run up and grab lmao

Reminder that anything online doesn't matter. Connection with it's input lag is so terribad it's not even funny. Play local or don't play at all I'd say. Sadly cap is a bad character, he's flashy, but will have a harder time than most.
Play hardcore, or play for fun. Don't try to do the in-between. I mainly play meme shit-tier characters myself such as dorf, King K. and the plant. I stomp the bad and get rekt by the pros. But I'm having fun.
Have you considered trying other characters, just for the fun of it?
Benjamin Bell
Grab combos are completely broken online, none of them are true. Everyone can easily air dodge out of them if they have half a brain.
I AM trying to play for fun. Fighting CPUs is not fun. It's boring. Anything else has to be either online or locals, both of which I get demolished. I can do decently with pretty much all characters but I feel a certain comfort in falcons movement. Aside from his turn around he seems pretty fluid. Wish his attacks had some range and I was just better. I also play Roy a lot but also boring, just fair fair fair.
