Pic unrelated?

yes

Diablo 3 is not isometric?

That's isometric though, ooga booga

Nope

No it isn't, it's overhead 3D. Go look up what isometric means

I don't care about whatever pedantic bullshit you have with the term isometric. I like playing Grim Dawn though. Way better than Diablo.

>basic established definitions of very particular terms is now "pedantic bullshit"

Theresults no such thing as an action rpg, that's just a really shitty action game

You have autism

You are desperately coping over being wrong

Jesus, just say you didn't know and shut the fuck up.

no, they've devolved into loot grinding trash

I'm playing Grim Dawn right now. my first ARPG since Diablo 2.

An action rpg is just an action game that has a lot of built-in exploration and customization.

>Be me
>Play diablo 3 for the first time
>Set the story difficulty as high as possible
>Enjoy the atmosphere, fights against few but tough opponents, worrying about spacing, constantly upgrading equipment
>Beat game and start adventure mode
>Gear up with full set+legendary gear in like a day or two
>Everything beyond that is just setting the rift difficulty level to "you can kill everything in 1 hit" and killing 99999999 enemies as fast as possible
Fun while it lasted, i guess.

poe - autismal maximal arpg for autists
diablo 3 - casul "le im bored face" retardation repeating the same thing over and over again
diablo 2 - based fun for like a week then you'll shelf it for another 4 years.
diablo 1 - stop playing after 4 hours

I do, but I wish fucking all of them were not fantasy. I want to see a diablo-like in a contemporary or sci-fi setting.

Whenever I see any game with a perspective like this I'm immediately repulsed. Just something really unappealing about this type of game

Only d2 fuck everything else

it literally is though

No it isn't, isometric is a really specific camera projection. If the game is 3D with perspective, it's not isometric

They are good but a certain issue is the first playtrouhg is extremely easy with ussually just a very few hardish points and all the rest is easy, wich is still fun, but around 75 percent in a game im burned out and just rush the rest, they then expect me to go for my next playtrough on a harder difficulty but you owuld have to be braindead to play a game that much that doesnt respect your time (here is this braindead easy game but beat it 6 timesi n order you get to a fun difficulty :))

anyway i enjoyed titan quest, grim dawn, torchlight 2 and playing trough shadows awakening now.

nope. trash genre for retards

I'm fucking done, you're too retarded for your own good. If you're somehow not baiting, look up isometric view in games.

im this guy
and i kinda agree with you, they are for retards like me, i like the spectacle, i enjoy traversing multiple landscapes fast with enjoyable okay designed enemies, enjoy picking up the items and mix maxing my outfits, finding the best way to mow down enemies with skills, constantly resetting skills and make new builds just to kill things differently

its all pointless, yet i still crave the next grim dawn..

Kinda ? Movement is always a hit or miss for me and combat always takes some getting used to

I don't know what to tell you user, you're wrong
But if you want to just throw a fit and storm off and admit you're wrong that works for me

Bannerlord is an action rpg. ;)

Grim Dawn is trash. Fuck you shill shitting up every thread. Sterilize your fucking self with that shit taste. I would take a hammer to your kids just so we don't have to suffer more of your ilk.

Make your bait sound less butthurt next time. Just say:
>Grimdawn is shit :^)

I think it's generally agreed that an isometric video game only needs to loosely adhere to the 120° rule.

No it isn't
Enough people being wrong doesn't suddenly make them right

I see you googled it to just paste it without reading it.
Does the image above not look isometric? Diablo 3 is based on the same fucking angle, are you just getting upset at the background or objects that change in altitude, therefore, changing in size?
Also, just fucking look at the 8 directional spell in OP's picture. The diagonal parts are moving at a 30 degree angle.

I understand you basically can't comprehend anything related to angles, but you have to realize when you are wrong. You are nitpicking at something that noone cares about, that causes confusion and is still incorrect in most situations.
