Basically Druckmann is pulling a Kojima’s Moby Dick with the whole lesbo revenge story. It’s all a ploy to make everyone believe Joel dies and then be surprised by the actual game. Basic plot is as follows. You can choose not to read it so that the game actually takes you by surprise.
